Yes, this is nostalgic, but there's a reason there are new ones on the market: they're BETTERRRRRRR. The pull string is way too hard for a toddler who is interested in learning animal sounds to pull. An easy* lever style or the little puzzles that make the animal noises are much more suitable for a toddler to self-play with. The spinning parts are so loud you can't hear what is being said. You can try to slow it down by putting something (thick felt?) on the blue part under the arrow, but why buy someone a task? * When I say "easy" I mean: attempt to use the toy with only your pinky finger. If you can't, guess what, your toddler great grandchild is not going to be able to use this toy without assistance. And while it's cute to sit there with them a few times and play with this for the nostalgia, me and my toddler are both quickly getting bored with it since you can't hear anything once the arrow is spinning. And anyway, if I am interacting with my child as I need to do with this toy since they can't use it alone as it's too hard for the string to pull, *I don't need electronics.* We can make animal noises ourselves, look at books, etc. At the end of the day: just buy something else. Please stop buying this so fisher price stops selling it and stops making it. Don't even go to eBay and buy it. WE DON'T NEED THIS.

they say "classic ". not at all!!! half the size of the classic!!!! not happy. price of a classic but quality no where near!!! I'm disappointed. waited for it for my great grandson Xmas gift. I was so heartbroken. should have returned it but his mom was so excited because I brought her the hype. how it was the best thing ever for learning. i learned my children learned grandchildren learned and I feel like i cheated him the price. outrageous for a knockoff. no where near the quality

This does not work even close to the old toy of yesteryear! When you pull the string the arrow just spins around making a grinding noise (no voice). I changed the batteries and the grinding spinning sound of the arrow drowned out the very slight voice of the farmer. Waste of money. I returned it.

Sounds are muffled and hard to understand. Gears that spin arrow broke on the second day. Big no for us.

Not like the old one but nice

I returned this toy. Not even close to the quality I remember it to be. I bought it for my 2 year old grandson. The price does not match the quality. It looks and feels cheap and the sound quality is awful. Don’t buy!

I bought this toy because it has been around for generations but the sound of the voice is hindered by the sound of the arrow spinning.

It was priced much higher than a very similar item

It is not worth the money you pull the string it will break the little red knob on the end of the string is easy for a kid to choke if it gets pulled off

Sorry this one is a fail forsure. The spin is louder than the animal noise itself. I had bought it online so didn't get to hear it before hand. Probably my fault in that part.

Difficult for even older children to pull and play with. Size is a bit deceptive, looks larger online.

The machine itself is so loud you can’t hear the animal noises or farmer talk. Pulling the string takes effort, my kid can’t pull it yet.

It didn’t work as soon as I got it out of the box. It rarely spins and says a sound. Sometimes it spins without talking and sometimes it talks without spinning. Definitely not worth the price.
