However, with my new Soil Scoop from Fiskars, the mess is almost completely eliminated. You get the perfect amount of soil in every scoop, which means no more wasting spilled potting soil. The scoop handle is strong and easy to grip.. it does not leave me with the feeling of spilling soil when gardening inside. The packaging was phenomenal. All items are durable and constructed of recycled materials. I also like the fact that the items can be stored easy and together. Since it is made of plastic any spills can be washed off easily. It is the middle of winter here where I am, so I did not get a chance to use it for outdoor gardening yet. I did get to use it in the house for switching out soil in my house plants. It is great quality, sturdy, and seems very durable. I love the shape and curved edges so the soil doesn't go over the sides. It is a great size and weight, and it is perfect for transferring and digging holes. I can't wait for the warmer months to use it in my backyard garden.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This scoop is smooth to the touch and doesn’t separate and come apart easily like all the other ones I’ve owned in the past. There is nothing to rust either. I love the fact that when I place it full of dirt on my patio while I am working in the trellis garden area that it doesn’t spill. It feels heavy duty and I would recommend this to a friend. and I have already looked at the other items on the Fiskars website as now that I see the price and the quality, it has me wanting some other items as well. As you can see in my photo my old scoop doesn’t hold as much, it doesn’t sit upright either. This scoop holds 1/2 cup more of dirt than my old one. I received this as part of a campaign for my honest review from Influenster.

I find it’s not very functional. It’s rather large and bulky especially for indoor plants! This may be good to use this spring summer in my outdoor garden but, it’s not for me indoors too big and bulky to handle!
