Fiskars Scissors 8" Left Handed Bent Orange 1294508697WJ

I bought this pair of left handed scissors 2 years ago. Very light use. The screw holding the blades together loosens up to the point the scissors couldn't cut a sheet of paper. I just put some Loctite on the screw threads hoping it will keep the screw from loosening.

I bought this hoping for a sharp pair of left handed scissors to use for sewing. What a disappointment! There are so few choices for left-handed scissors I had hoped Fiskars would do a better job. So many left hand scissors are just duel handed not true left hand so I was happy to find these. But these don't even cut through a single layer of cotton fabric. It seems that if you are making so few left handed scissors you would make them ALL SHARP. ......you had one job!

She is left-handed and usually is fine to use regular scissors but these left-handed scissors are more comfortable for her and I think that she likes that they are just for her. Fiskars is a well-known brand so I was happy to have her try these out.

I know it’s not a big deal but it’s a world of difference. These lefties are great!! I let my mom use them and now I have to buy another pair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is so hard to find left handed anything much less left handed scissors. I like that the blade is able to the changed because they are utility scissors if the blade gets chipped you don’t have to trash them you can just replace the blade.

I initially got my dad to try these scissors first because he is left handed and is extremely critical when it comes to products, especially scissors, that are marketed for left handed people. These have became his go to scissors for just about everything. I am right handed but I was still able to use them with my right hand pretty comfortably and could actually use these scissors with my left hand without butchering the paper that I was attempting to cut (usually I can’t even hold left handed scissors or open them very much). Scissors have left handed blades, is lightweight, easy to control, comfortable to hold and are designed with a bent handle. Would definitely recommend for those seeking left handed scissors.

He opened them up and was amazed, he just loves these scissors, and uses them alot.
