Holds charge good, tracks sleep well. Disconnects from phone all the time. Steps are based on how much you move your hand. Inaccurate step count. I did like the simplicity of the design and band

Hey there, leggingslover. While we’re glad you’re enjoying the sleep tracking and good battery life on the Charge 6, we hear your concerns with it disconnecting and having problems syncing — we know that’s frustrating. Here’s some steps to get your running optimally: 1. Uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app 2. Try to manually sync your Fitbit device 3. Check your phone permissions Here’s a link with more troubleshooting tips: https://support.google.com/fitbit/answer/14236618 If these steps don’t work, feel free to reach out to us here: https://support.google.com/fitbit/gethelp?hl=en

Battery life is horrible. Full charge lasts less than two days.
1 reply from FitBit Team team - 20 days ago
Hey there, Drob. We’re sorry you’re having problems with battery life on your Charge 6. The device should be getting about 7 days worth of usage, though it can depend on what features are enabled — here’s some tips to reduce battery consumption: 1. Turn off always-on display 2. Use phone GPS instead of built-in GPS 3. Dim the screen or enable auto brightness Here’s a link with additional tips: https://support.google.com/fitbit/answer/14226518 We’re here anytime you need us: https://support.google.com/fitbit/gethelp?hl=en

I purchased the Fitbit 6 black a two weeks ago. The first week I waited until the battery was down to 15% to charge it. On the second week, the battery died the screen went blank once the battery reached less that 50%. Going on my 3 week and the battery keeps dying at less than 50%. I really like this Fitbit but the battery keeps dying.. I think I'll return it..

Hi there, B. Sorry to hear your experience with the Inspire 3 hasn’t been the best. You should be getting up to 7 days of battery life on your device. Here’s some suggestions to preserve your battery: 1. Turn off always-on display 2. Use phone GPS instead of built-in GPS 3. Dim the screen or enable auto brightness If the problem still persists, we’d be happy to investigate further here: https://support.google.com/fitbit/gethelp?hl=en

I like all the features it can do with measuring the heart as I have a heart murmur. That caught my attention and ultimately was the deciding factor in why I chose this one. One thing I wish it had more of is themes for the screen. I am hoping that will change one day.

Best thing about this Fitbit Charge 6 was the battery life. It needed charging about every 6 or 7 days. The screen was difficult to "wake up" with a wrist turn, and I didn't like the time being displayed vertically. But the deal breaker was when it got stuck on a Youtube music screen for 18 hours, and wouldn't re-set or change. Thankfully I was still within the return window and had kept the box.

I really like this watch. I had an Inspire 2 but the display screen stopped working so I upgraded to this one. I really like the updated screen on this one. My only complaint is the battery life isn’t great. My Inspire 2 lasted well over a week or 2, but this watch only lasts about 4-5 days.

I purchased this in November to give as a gift for Christmas. My daughter used it for less than two weeks and the thing won't charge anymore. Now, they won't let her return it because although I gave her the receipts, she threw away the box. So no, we are out over $100
1 reply from FitBit Team team - 3 months ago

The battery life on this thing sucks! I’m coming from an Inspire 2 that had a battery life of about 7 days. Disappointed that after 4 days the battery was close to dead. I thought new models were supposed to perform better?

I bought my Charge 6 during Target’s Black Friday sale last year, 2023, for $99. I’m glad I bought it. It’s still working great and the battery lasts for days. I needed a fitness tracker to keep track of my workouts and log and rate my sleep. I didn’t want the over-bloated fancy-schmacy apple wrist product. I already have enough apple products. In fact, I’m using the Fitbit app on my iPhone to link to my Charge 6. The Charge 6 is simple, skinny, and almost unobtrusive compared to other products. I wear it on my right wrist and wear my automatic dive watch on my left wrist. I prefer the simplicity of an analog watch so I wanted the smallest possible fitness tracker to wear while I’m wearing my dive watch. Yes, I wear two watches. I workout 5-7 days a week, mostly because the Fitbit wants you to workout at least 5 times a week. It’s weird that I used to work out 3-4 days a week but now, because of this Charge 6, I voluntarily workout more. For exercise tracking, the Charge does a fair job of detecting an exercise. It’s actually easier and faster to select the exercise manually. The ECG function is very accurate considering that the reading is coming from this tracker. I get an official ECG from my primary doctor every year. I’ve compared the printouts and the ECG reading from the Charge 6 does a good job. There’s also a countdown timer and alarm clock that I use all the time. It’s a Google product so you can set it up for Google Pay and YouTube music. I don’t use those much. Big bonus - it’s much cheaper and much simpler than the very popular apple product.

This version places workout above being able to quickly view your home screen. When it detects a workout it will spend several minutes on a screen with the word play. It will periodically display heart rate. Once it decides the workout is over it will spend several minutes on a screen waiting for confirmation. Once confirmed it will then go to a screen reviewing the workout. As a person who utilizes the tracker for the time the workout feature is not an improvement

I’d give it 0 stars if I had the option. Believe every negative review you see out there. I had an Apple Watch for years and decided to give the Fitbit a try despite reading all the negative reviews… that was a mistake. Sometimes it works, other times it doesn’t. Sometimes it doesn’t sync, other times it does. Just does what it wants. Extremely irritated at it. Getting an Apple Watch again asap. I’ve had the Fitbit now for about 5 months and I’m over it. The champagne gold also looks silver when you take it out the box, just a heads up.
