submitted byRen - 4 months agoA: thought it was 5,1 subject notebooks, even in the video it shows 1 subject notebooks, but no it shows single one subject notebooks, but they really meant. It’s a five subject notebook and that’s what you get one book with five subject dividers inside.

The notebook itself is great! Mead notebooks are above average quality compared to your budget notebook. It has clean white smooth papers with even lines, and I found there to be no missing pages. The pages are thin but hold up very well after a year of use, 2 stars docked off not for the notebook itself but for the listing, it shows a picture with 5 different colored notebooks which can be easily misinterpreted as expecting to receive 5 separate notebooks in a pack! It should be fixed as I can understand why many feel that they have been misled. This is ONE notebook evenly split into 5 subjects with a thick manila colored folder in-between. Now this format of notebook is very useful for college/personal use where you don’t need to carry around 5 separate notebooks or if you need a notebook that allows you to divide one subject into smaller sections within the topic. This may not be useful for situations in school where you need to hand in a notebook which is a typical situation for children. Hope this review is useful! :)

I wouldn’t have paid this amount if I knew it was one notepad. Due to the picture, I assumed I’d be getting five notepads. Very misleading and I’m certain Target knows what they’re doing

Change the photo, please. I was in a hurry, saw the photo and the price and assumed I was getting 6 single subject notebooks. The photo is misleading. Kudos to the people who were smart enough to have figured it out, but you seem to be in the minority.

I have been buying these notebooks for 20 years and they were always great until recently. Now the pages are thinner and tear out more easily. In the last 6 months they have also reduced the overall size and you can no longer fit a standard piece of printer paper in the folders making it a lot less useful. Very disappointed at the lack of quality and function! And the price is now $7 which is ridiculous. Please go back to the original design. I will be returning this.

Most of the pages were tore out and hanging on by the bottom holes on the pages! Some are completely unattached. It’s like having loose leaf instead of a spiral notebook.
