I've used original fixodent for over 35 years and this original fixodent today in stores has a harmful chemical inside the tube and if swallowed is harmful, a health hazard - The Fixodent Company needs to bring to laboratory and fix it and make it safe again !!

New user. Hate this product. It's glue and too hard to remove from the roof of my mouth. Need to use a spoon handle to scrape it off and also a tooth brush. Use my finger too. Wondering if Fixodent powder would be the same. Will not continue using this product.

We're confident that we can help you remove that excess residue with ease, Jayne! As you may know, as Fixodent absorbs excess water, the hold will loosen. If you haven't already, rinse your mouth with water-- as hot as is comfortable. After that, gently brush your gums with a soft-bristled toothbrush and regular toothpaste. If you still see residue, you may want to gently rub away the remaining adhesive with a damp cloth or gauze and a small amount of cooking oil or rinse your mouth with mouthwash. Everything they said is what I think about the new boxes of Original Fixodent… Wondering why you took a great product like Fixodent and made such a drastic change to it and still call it "Original "? Have used the actual Original for many years, always happy with it. Your newly revised "original" product does not hold well or nearly as long as your old product did. Very hard to clean off too. Very much suggest that you go back to your old formula. Please don't send coupons, if anything send some of the actual original product that you may have in a back corner of your warehouse.

After running out of my stock I had to buy new tubes which the package was changed and the formula has been changed because it does not hold like it used to now I have to buy more to re line every time before I eat. 0r I have to spend more for advanced formula. I will try other products as this company is chasing the buck on the cheap instead of providing quality.

I have used this product for a few years but it is not working now. It’s stays there for awhile then falls out but also when I put the plate in all the glue comes out and makes my mouth feel bad and can’t even wear my bottom ones cause they never stay in

This is the only stuff that works for me. BUT YOU CHANGED IT. And it SUCKS! The real original that came in the pink and light blue box/tube, the one pictured above, is GREAT! It had a medium pink paste and it lasted all day and night. I would have to pull it off 24 hours later to clean it. But you changed it. Now it’s in a pink and darker blue box and the denture paste itself is really light pink. It does NOT hold. I’m lucky if it stays for a couple hours. Eating? Doesn’t stay. Comes undone EVERY SINGLE TIME I EAT. I have to clean and reapply about 4 times a day. And it doesn’t give the same cushion feeling. My gums are grinding on my dentures. The actual original one had a bit of cushion. And almost expanded when you got it wet. I wish washer through after I put it in and it almost expanded a bit and get cushy. This new crap? Just stays as goo, no cushion, no seal, no staying. CHANGE IT BACK!!!!!

Please know that we have many quality checks in place to make sure that every tube of Fixodent is in great condition. We're sorry if this one isn't measuring up to our standards. We haven't made any changes to the actual Fixodent product, only a change to the packaging. Our denture adhesive should hold for 12 hours. If it is not lasting that long, it could be caused by the following. The fit of your dentures. Your nutritional health and saliva flow. Very hot or cold food. Changes in the condition of your gums or bone structure. The condition of your dentures. The medication you are taking. You are not following the proper instructions on how to use the product.
