The chair came in one piece which is nice, the footstools came in two and I needed no instructions. Sitting vertically right now it is not uncomfortable by any means but I can feel the frame, however if I curl up in it horizontally it’s very very comfortable. The foot stools are nice as well. If given the opportunity for a light color if definitely buy it. It’s nice that it folds up and Also the cat likes it.
