HOW TO USE:
STEP 1: REFRESH YOUR CUP
If it’s your first time using your Flex Cup, give it a quick wash with warm water and a mild soap or cleanser. To completely sanitize your cup in between periods, boil it for 10 minutes on the stove (do not allow your cup to come in contact with the sides or bottom of the pot).
STEP 2: FIND YOUR FOLD
Experiment with folding techniques. There are lots of different ways you can fold your cup for insertion, but one of our favorites is called the punchdown fold. Simply push one side of the cup’s rim down towards the base with your thumb, then pinch the sides together.
STEP 3: GET IN POSITION
Get into a comfortable position—either sitting on the toilet, standing with one leg elevated, or squatting with knees wide. Insert the folded cup into the vaginal canal. You don't have to push it too far back (and it’s normal for the pull-tab to hang slightly outside your body).
STEP 4: CHECK YOUR PLACEMENT
To make sure the cup has opened fully, insert a clean finger into your vagina and run it around the outside of the cup. You'll know your cup is in the right place when you can move around without leaks or discomfort.
*Please follow the full Instructions for Use within the box prior to use.
**To clean your Flex Cup, simply empty your cup, rinse with cool water, apply a mild soap or cleanser, lather, and rinse again with warm water. At the end of your cycle, sanitize by boiling (see instructions) and store it in its carrying pouch.

i bought it because i was on a car ride and started my period and i didn’t want to have to stop every three to four hours to change my tampon or pad. i love my purchase! it was pretty easy to insert and easy to take out. it did hurt a bit, but it’ll take practice. i wore it from 5:30pm to 9am and had no leaks. really is the best period product that i’ve ever used!!

Sooooo to be completely honest the thought of using this freaked me out! I use pads only. Tampons hurt too bad to use so I figured I would always be using those but I seen this ad for one of these and thought well let's try it. Pulling this out of the package to be honest I was super nervous and didn't think I could do it but, once I calmed down I got the hang of it. It didn't hurt, felt comfortable and fine. I am now going into my 3rd month using this and honestly in a strange way I am not dreading my period. I can go out on the boat, go swimming etc. and not worry. Only thing I would recommend is your periods are light like mine using a little lube to help place it. Other than that works amazing! Go buy one! You won't be disappointed.

i've tried many period cups and none work or fit my body like flex does. with other brands i would sometimes get leakage from only a few hours of wearing it, with flex i can go 12 hours and not worry about there being red in my underwear. i can't even feel it when its in.

As someone who doesn’t like tampons I was genuinely surprised by how much I liked this. It’s easy to clean, insert, and remove. I still use a liner just in case of leaks but yet to have any. I would definitely recommend. It does feel weird but you get used to it fast.
No more waste!

This is life changing for me. I tried the disc's, but due to maybe my tilted uterus or some other anatomical issue I just couldn't get them to work. The cup is perfect! I don't feel it, totally mess free, love the pull tab, it's amazing.
Best cup for begginers and experts!

Almost 7 years later - still LOVING that I switched. In the seven years I’ve been using cups I have not once had leaking or an accident! However, that first cycle after the switch was rough. A humbling time in the bathroom at 2 am. With the worst cramping while struggling to place a diva cup properly. Crying because I didn’t have any pads or tampons to fall back on. I just had to do it! Safe to say I finally got it placed. The next morning I went out to buy the FLEX cup. This cup was easy to place from the first time. Removing the cup was so much better and mess free with the “pull tab” I felt so confident and in control of my body! I’ve recommended it for years! The company also cares about us. I replaced my original FLEX cup at 5 years with another FLEX cup. Same amazing quality I know and trust. If you’re willing to get through the learning curve it is worth it. It is pricy and I know it’s a privilege to spend so much upfront. For me it paid for itself in 2 cycles if that helps some of y’all justify it. Good luck and welcome to taking control of what goes in your body!

This was an awful experience. The cup wouldn't stay in place and was a nightmare to remove. Customer service took nearly two weeks to tell me I could only replace it with a larger cup. I will try a reusable disc from another company.

I was hoping this would be easier than other brands like the diva cup, and it is in some ways like with the pull tab. However, I do notice some leaking after just a few hours of wear when I don't have a heavy flow but that can be fixed with frequent emptying. My biggest gripe with the product is it's just too painful to remove that I just cannot use it.

I used a different cup for a long time, but it was old and not sealing like it used too. I decided to try this one and I really wanted to like it. Sadly it is just not comfortable. For starters, it Is really thick, and you can feel it. And the little pull tab is very present. It sticks out of you like period strings. The concept behind this cup with the pull tab is what drew me to it. In my previous cup experinces, I don't even notice it is in. I forget about it actually, with this one, there is no forgetting. I would go with a better rated one for anyone thinking about this.

This was a game changer for me. I ended up getting the Flex Cup Size 2 because it was the only one left in the store lol (but I also have really heavy periods so it worked out). Dislike: my only real dislike is that it has a bit of a learning curve. The first couple of times I tried using it, it would leak. I ended up watching a YouTube video and make sure the tab isn’t pulled out the way out and it doesn’t leak. Summary of the video: fold the cup like a tulip and then when you’re inserting it, twist as you push until it opens. One more dislike is that the travel bag is made of like a woven fabric so sometimes the fibers are stuck on the cup. You can rinse them off so no biggie. Likes: Reusable and cost effective so I don’t have to spend a crap ton of money on pads and tampons. Easy to clean: simply empty and wash. Tab: the tab makes it so easy to remove. Pull the tab to break the suction and then grab where the tab and cup meet and pull. My cramps are less painful than when I use tampons.
Not as scary as i thought!

Basically NO leaking, definitely less than with a tampon! I was super nervous to try out a menstrual cup mainly because I wasn’t sure how removing it would go. I LOVE that it has a little pull tab to disengage the suction so that it’s easy to remove! In my opinion it’s about as uncomfortable to remove as a tampon. Also important to note though that I gave birth less than a year ago so that might be why it’s comfortable for me to wear.

Since it has a pull-tab, it easily leaks through. It keeps me paranoid that I’ll stain which 95% of the time, it happens. Going back to return bc for $33 bucks, I expect more

I really like this cup! I had tried a few different brands and found many to be too hard, so they were not comfortable. I would use them once or twice and then opt for other menstrual products during my cycles. I’ve been only using this cup since I got it a few days ago and am so happy I did! It’s easy to get placed properly, the cup itself is easy to fold up and insert, and I love the flexible tab for removal. If you’re having a hard time finding the right cup for you, give flex a shot!

I bought this in replace of my diva cup ( it was getting old and clear silicone doesn’t look cute after awhile if you catch my drift) I was excited about the tab that you could just pull to get the cup out but I feel that is the issue with this cup is that it leaks through that tab at the bottom so I end up having to where a pad anyway, great for light days but unfortunately for someone with a heavy flow I’d stay away

New cup user - I first tried another brand which I found difficult to remove. I highly recommend going with Flex, the pull loop makes it super easy to remove. Comfortable size and softness also easily opens inside.
