This board has several divots/ holes in the bottom of the board causing the board to jerk and get stuck on anything less than perfectly smooth snow. This board is a waste of money and time and will discourage any potential snowboarder. Tip: the wood boards sold at target while significantly more expensive they are great and easy for beginners to learn. We ended up putting it in the trash it really is complete garbage!

Do not buy! It will not go down a hill no matter how steep or slippery! Horrible snowboard save your money and get something else this one is junk. So disappointing

I read the mixed reviews, but thought, "we will be okay," not the case. Please do not buy this and think that your child will be able to use it on the snow. We have tried it on fresh powder, packed down snow, and all the mixes inbetween, does not work. The only time it does, pure iced on top snow. Please purchase something else so you are not disappointed

we bought this and drove 3 hours away to snow only to find that it does not work AT ALL. I read reviews ( must be paid off) that said it worked great. my poor 8 year old hopped it down the slope. it wouldn't slide at all. we went to a real ski resort and all. save yourself the headache and heartbreak. do not buy.

We took it to a very good hill we use for sledding. My 5 and 6 year old daughter, as well as myself and another adult were all unable to get it to even slide down the hill. We returned the item and will get one with a smooth bottom.

We purchased this snowboard for my son for Christmas and a friend for his birthday. Both boys (ages 9 and 10) used it separately and it worked great! I checked in with both to be sure. It is well made and their feet stayed in the bindings. They simply loosened the bindings, put their feet in and it stayed. They glided down the hill. I have no idea why it did not work for others, but it was a big success with these two boys! I was glad to get them things which encouraged them to be outside too!

My 8 year old son isn’t the most coordinated, and gets easily frustrated when he doesn’t immediately master a skill right away. I bought this snowboard with the thought that he would fall a ton, get upset because he wasn’t the next Shawn white, and there would be A LOT of tears at the sledding hill. To my surprise, non of that happened!!! He took to snowboarding like a duck to water! He loved every minute of his first time snowboarding today!!! He’d still be out on the hill right now, hours later, if I’d let him. If you know anything about snowboarding, or above the age of 8, this is not the board for you. But if you have a shy 2nd grader, this will surly boost some confidence in them. We will have to upgrade probably next year, because as mentioned in other posts, there are grooves in the bottom that will slow you down. He already wants to go faster. But this is great beginner snowboard. Additionally, the price can’t be beat for a novice young future snowboarder!

Doesn't glide very well and feet slip out too easily. One positive is that you can adjust the bindings so you can use either foot in front.

Sane as all the rest of the reviews- it doesn’t go! And when it does my son inches sling down our steep hill. So disappointed!

Just like with all the other reviews... we can barely get this snowboard to move even on steep icy hills! The only way it slides is when there’s zero weight on it! My daughter is 40 lbs, my son is 88 lbs. Neither kid can get it to slide because the bottom has so many grooves in it that catch snow underneath and slow it down. Went back to Target to get the only other snowboard they stalk, and it was sold out already. Our kid’s sleds work as better snow boards than this thing lol!

Junk! This snowboard does not slide down any snow hills. We have another snowboard that works great so my kids are used to riding snowboards. However none of my 3 kids could get this to move. Too many groves and pockets in the bottom - not a smooth, slick surface.

Ideal snow conditions for snow boarding and it did not move an inch. Item was returned.

Not worth your money. The bottom of the board is not smooth and has grooves which do not let the board go on snow. Our boys are 8 and 5 but did not work for either. There has to be better products out there.

The grooves on the bottom kept it from sliding. My daughter was so disappointed and we scrambled to find something better.

These boards worked awesome for our young kids (6 & 8). It took them some practice, but in just an inch and a half of snow they were cruising down the hill full speed. They loved them and had so much fun. Great starter board for young kids. My only concern would be the straps may not last more than a couple years, but for the price, worth it!

This “snowboard” is not worth the purchase! The bottom of the board is full of grooves and not smooth causing the snowboard to not move. Neither of my kids could get it to go down our hill. My daughter was very sad. Do not waste your money on this. I will be returning it and finding a different one that actually works.
