A: The way to alternate between consistency, is to alter the amount of time the blender blends. For chunks, pulse the blender a few times and review to see if you achieve the consistency you want. For purees and mashes, it will require more blending time.

A: Yes just make sure they are fully steamed/cooked so they blend precisely. The Food Maker Deluxe can be used in one of three ways: Automatic Steam & Blend, Steam Only or Blend Only.

A: We recommend the following to clean the water tank. Easily remove it from the machine and take off the cap. Then use warm, soapy water to wash it. One suggestion is to fill the tank with the warm soapy water, put the cap on and shake it ensuring the soapy water reaches all corners of the tank. Then make sure to fully rinse it before using again.
