In a classic urban barn style with a curving neck, it invokes a charmingly old-fashioned feel. A smooth textured black finish gives this fixture a clean, almost contemporary touch. It requires vertical installation and is equipped with a built-in dawn to dusk photocell that provides lighting you don't have to worry about. A: Hi - yes, you can control the light with a wall switch. The design has a built-in dusk-to-dawn photocell that turns the light automatically on at night and then off at sunrise.

Ordered because it is a beautiful style and we’re not disappointed in that aspect. We were remodeling and had lamp for over 1 year before installing. Wonderful when first installed, but dusk to dawn feature and ability to keep lamp lit failed after about 6 months of daily use with recommended bulb. Have since seen a number of reviews on other websites describing the same failure. Unfortunately do not recommend.

Just what we were looking for for our porch light. It’s hardwired and is on a sensor for night if the switch is on which is nice. Works great. The texture is not smooth (which is what I like) so it looks beautiful and it feels pretty heavy duty. Color is true matte black. We bought two more for our garage area as well. Well-made.
