Probably okay for indoor use only. We used these balls to play dodgeball outside and they cracked and opened on the first day of use. The bundles are not available in store so we bought six balls, at $10 each. For $60, I definitely was not pleased. Perhaps they are not made for use on grass and for kids that are 12 years old to play dodgeball.

Great for numerous games in the gym. We are a homeschool family and I found these as some of the more reasonably priced quality foam "gator skin" balls out there. They have held up well and are used in many games beyond Dodgeball (like Monster Ball). I probably need to get more though as they are fun to use and you can't have enough. I have from a 12 year old to a 4 year old enjoying the dodgeballs.
