A: The hooks are most suitable for heavy coats or jackets and purses & tote bags in the range of 5 lbs. I would be more be more inclined to put heavy backpacks on the seat.

Cheap materials make this product so vulnerable when shipping. We even helped the UPS guy carefully bring it inside and still opened it up to find broken pieces. This is not sold in stores so you are forced to pack it back up and mail it if you want any chance at a refund. It is more trouble than it is worth.

I’m not happy with this product. For the cost it should AT LEAST have labeled parts. Packaging isn’t impressive either, some parts were scuffed. Not all the hardware parts were included. This took me approx 2hrs to put together but I did it by myself though it calls for 2 person assembly. I would NOT buy this product or any other product from this company. It’s cheaply manufactured and shipped without any concern for the customer. You have been warned.

I can't really rate it as it came w/a broken piece, which I noticed upon opening, so I didn't get anywhere with it, so took it back w/a lot of help and am waiting for another to be shipped. I read some of the reviews and a bit concerned on putting it together and the quality. Praying it will stand up to my expectations, as it's a beautiful piece and am looking forward to putting in the corner wall inside the backdoor. Perfect spot for a corner piece!

The hooks are really weak and don't hold large winter coats very well. Also when there is more than one winter coat on a hook the coats begin to hang out of the unit and look messy. Overall not as sturdy and useful as I thought or would have hoped.

Would not recommend buying! 1- Defective product: As other reviewers mentioned, the components came with glue marks and styrofoam glued to the wood. This permanently marked and/or discolored many of the pieces. 2- Terrible directions: The directions are unclear and indicate piece numbers, however, none of the pieces are marked with corresponding numbers so you have to guess which piece is which. This is particularly difficult for the diamond shelf/top/bottom pieces which are almost identical but cannot be interchanged.

Exactly what we needed for a small area between the front door and the stairs. Looks great and sturdy, holds 4 large coats and we use the bottom shelves to store our toddler's shoes. Extra shelf on the top which can be used for various purposes. Absolutely love it.

Sadly when I opened the box the Styrofoam packing was had glue that stuck to the board. When I lifted it out of the box it ripped the particle board right off. Luckily I could haul the thing back to our local Target store and returned it easily.

This product came to me damaged, which was very annoying because of course you wouldn't notice until you get the package into your apartment and opened (once you've done so packing it back up to return it would be a huge hassle) Not to mention either having to ship it back or take it back to a store to return it. I figured it was a small piece of damage so i will try to use wood glue to fix it. (STILL VERY FRUSTRATING TO PAY SO MUCH AND HAVE IT COME DAMAGED) The assembly of this product is a nightmare. the pieces are not labeled and neither are the parts. you also need a good quality drill in order to assemble this (not just your typical assembly for simple furniture. (Much better quality then other assemble yourself furniture i have bought though) if you have the patience and time to build this and proper tools I recommend it. (so long as it doesn't come to you damaged you should be ok) If you're not good at building things this is not for you. Also don't recommend it if you would have a lot of stairs to take it up/ issues with delivery.

The Freemont Corner Hall Tree was bought in white & has been exactly what we expected & wanted & fits the area very nicely. We discovered the depth dimension (19") from from the center to the outside edge is actually is more like 19 1/2". It was tight but fits with just a breath over the door molding. We also added a wall anchor near the top so it won't topple over on a grandchild climbing on it or during one of our California earthquakes. I do feel a wall anchor should be included on anything that is 6ft tall for safety reasons.
