Fantastic rendition of Brazilian Cerrado! I have always enjoyed how Brazilian coffee can roast dark, while still maintaining a distinct nutty flavor that makes this roast stand out. In most cases, pushing dark results in only toasty chocolate flavor, but with Brazil, specifically the FCP Brazil Cerrado there is a pecan praline note that pops through ahead of all the other flavors associated with darker roast. FWIW I only brewed this as an espresso for making a americanos iced and hot.

This Dark Brazilian and the Nicaraguan are my favorite coffees so far. I reordered the Nicaraguan and thought I would try some smaller samples of other coffees. After reading the info on this Brazilian I thought I would give it a try and it did NOT disappoint. This coffee is smooth, has great flavor and body and I LOVE drinking it. Try this coffee, you'll be GLAD you did!

I think this may be my go-to from now own. This is an excellent darker roast with lots of flavor. There's no trace of a burnt or smokey flavor in this Brazilian medium-dark roast.

I have come to love dark roasts and it seems the darker the better. Having tried most all of the darkest that Fresh Roast has to offer I thought I’d branch out a bit and try this Dark Brazil which is not quite as dark as I prefer. It is good. Not exactly what I personally prefer, but if you enjoy the darker side of medium, this may be the one for you. Try it!
