I was using walnut shell liter until my cat got sick with IBD and a lot of those symptoms show up as kidney issues so this liter has been a life saver keeping me sane, his urine is in the perfect shade of ph (:

I was having issues with my 1 yr old cat urinating in various places throughout the house. Additionally, she had UTI on a couple occasions. After many attempts to curb both problems, I tried Fresh Step Health Monitoring Crystals. This SOLVED both problems. We believe something in the typical litter was irritating her and perhaps causing UTI. Therefore, she was hesitant to urinate in the litter even though she would have bowel movements there. Note, we have a Kitty Litter Robot which is always kept clean (and is amazing!). We, including Molly, are thrilled with the crystals and a bonus is with the colorization, we can keep an eye out for potential UTI's or other health issues. It is also more tidy that regular litter. I highly recommend!

Bought this for my cat to keep up with his health, but after completely using one bag I can safely say I’m never buying this litter again. It’s extremely dusty/cloudy and the litter is very small and fine so it gets stuck to your cats fur and paws extremely easily this causing litter to go everywhere whenever he is done. I won’t lie the health monitor is great but the litter itself isn’t.

I bought 4 7 lb bags and it is absolute garbage, I have one cat using it and I have to change the litter box out at least every 2 weeks. It says it's supposed to stay good for up to 30 days, no it's straight garbage.

I like that it’s more available than Pretty Litter, but it’s definitely NOT as good as PL. There’s only 7lbs in this bag vs 8lbs in PL. Doesn’t last the full month. I change the litter on the 1st of the month, today is the 20th and the boxes ABSOLUTELY need to be changed today!

I bought this after our local target was out of the regular crystals. I started to notice my cat over using the litter box and found it odd. I didn't think too much of it until I noticed the distinct dark blue in this litter. I made an appointment right away with our vet. We discovered she had a UTI and the test came back with so many yucky things. I don't think I would've noticed with the regular crystals and I probably would've ended up with a much larger bill. I have noticed the smell that other users describe, I've combatted this with a natural deodorizer. Also the larger crystals in this formula makes it harder for my cats to track. There is still some tracking, but significantly better than the orginal formula. It's seriously worth it, if it means making sure my cats health is easily monitored!

This literally does not live up to its promises. It worked well for the first two days then the odor became overwhelming, and this was with me scooping several times a day. Pretty liter works much better!!

I prefer this brand over other similar litters. My cat seems to like it as well. The health monitoring works great too. It does track everywhere but that’s expected with this type of litter, highly recommend a litter mat to catch it.

We truly don’t have any health issues with our cat so there wasn’t anything to monitor. But maybe if you’re cat needs to be monitored medically I’m sure this product would be helpful in some way.

This new health monitoring stuff does not work well at all in preventing odors. It also releases a lot of dust which I’m sure can’t be good to breathe. I was forced to buy it when the store was out of the regular one and will never waste my money again. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!
