Warning: New formula isn’t good. Its very dusty and so heavily over fragranced it burned my eyes and throat. Now I’m concerned it’ll affect my cats lungs. I used to love this litter and used it for years. Why the change???

If it was possible to give this stuff less than one star I would. I don't know when they reformulated it because I generally buy several packages of it at a time in the four pack of bags, but it's terrible now if you're looking for a non-dusting clumping cat litter. Don't buy this stuff. It's garbage

I have used this for my cats for a long, long, long time - through many kitties. The formula is different. I poured it in and it is very dark gray and beyond dusty. Please change back to the original as I am now searching for my new litter. The bag is also gray now just like the new dark color of the litter when it used to be a blue bag and has japanese or chinese or some kind of other language all over it. I really hope this is a mistake and the 4 blue bags come back in the 38 pound pack.

I have used this for 16 years. Poured into litter box with old litter and it is completely different, like dark dusty dirt - absolutely terrible. Formula is 100% changed. Why would you do this? The regular formula you had for many, many years was great. Very disappointed and now I will have to find a new brand.

i have four sticky boys, two of them being seven and six months old ( if you don't know kitten poop smells SO BAD ) while the other two are four and seven. i have two liter boxes and this is perfection, it covers their smell and is very easy to scoop. one point off for low tracking since it does always seem to be on the floor, but easy enough to sweep up.
Don't hesitate to buy Fresh Step.

This is the only thing that contains odors for more than a day in whichever of the two litter boxes our two cats decide to poop in. I don’t know why, but they poop a *lot*. Maybe it’s because they’re free fed? Anyway, we’ve tried to save a little bit of money on other brands and I end up nauseated on day two because it stinks so badly. It also keeps more urine clumped than other brands, so we don’t get as many residual pieces left over after scooping.
