Rough bristles on brush, bleeding gums! Baby has six teeth, decided to try out the bristle brush. I should have tried it in myself first. The bristles are way too stiff for a baby brush. I would say they are rougher than my own soft adult brush. Ugh. Baby immediately started bleeding from the gums behind his teeth where the bristles push up and around the back of the tooth. If you're using this on baby teeth (<1y), I would say do not.

So far this has been the best toothbrush I’ve tried for my baby. We started with a finger brush but he liked to bite down it, which started to hurt as he got stronger. Then we tried one that just looked like a mini adult toothbrush and he started tearing the bristles out with his teeth. So far this one is working great! He prefers the silicone piece because it feels nice on his gums and he’ll sometimes brush his teeth and gums himself. As for the piece with bristles, he hasn’t managed to pull any out yet. I’m glad we tried out this toothbrush set.

This has been great to use while teaching my daughter to brush her teeth. The one that’s all silicone is great for when she is teething and has sore gums, but also gives her something to hold onto while I brush her teeth with the other toothbrush. The shape of them also makes it a lot easier to clean all sides of the teeth.

It may just be me, but I find it difficult to get a good brush on the baby's lower teeth. I just came get the curved part of bristles around the teeth, especially when baby is squirming and pushing his tongue in the way. I feel a non curved toothbrush works better.

I’m not sure why this has close to five stars the toothbrush made my sons gums bleed. He’s only eight months but has teeth that need to be brushed so I use this toothbrush, thinking it would work great but I was definitely wrong.

Loved the teether toothbrush, helped my little get used to bristles. And I loved the toddler training toothbrush until I discovered a black spot on the outside near the brush. The rubber part around it was starting to come off so I tore it off to find mildew that had grown on the inside. Unfortunately now it’s going in the trash and I’ll be looking for another toddler toothbrush. So just be aware
