For increased efficiency and longevity, the handles are fitted with rust-proof nylon bushings. To avoid sticky fingers and handles, the handles are lacquered.CARE AND CLEANINGTo clean: Wipe with a damp cloth. Do not wash in the dishwasher orsoak in water. To season: Moisten a soft cloth with a quarter-sizedrop of mineral oil and use it to lightly coat the rolling pin. Season before first use, repeat every three to six months.
