The Room & Joy Adele Loft Bed is a multi-functional bed that was designed for smaller spaces. This all-encompassing bed includes a desk, two shelves and a pegboard that offer ultimate versatility. The robust metal frame is stable and durable and it comes with metal slats that will support your mattress without the need of a foundation. This loft bed accommodates a full-size mattress (sold separately – recommended thickness of 6” max). The Adele comes with two built-in ladders in the front and on the side, along with upper guardrails to ensure safety.

I have to say it was pretty self-explanatory putting it together, it of course is a smidge difficult to do on your own. But it took probably around two hours for two people to put it together. Everything is clearly labeled and it has pictures in the instructions. It does seem pretty sturdy however I am very careful about when I climb up it and climb down it to go slow and not to try to throw my weight around as I climb. I am an adult who has a very small studio apartment and needed the space underneath. This fits my needs exactly. I have read on other bed frame styles as this that every so often you should use the tools that come with the building such to tighten up any screws that may wiggle loose after usage and I do plan to do that however, I have not noticed it loosening up at all yet I’ve had it up probably about a week.

I didn't want to splurge on expensive loft beds until I knew my daughters wanted to have them permanently. So I opted for these. So far my girls love these beds!! We've had them for almost a year. Could use a little more stability. I don't want it to move at all, but that's my preference. It wobbles a little while they're climbing into them. I'm giving 4 stars because of this. It's true to the description and surprisingly makes their room fill larger. I recommend this bed if you're looking for inexpensive yet a pretty well made bed.
