This loft bed is very tall so there is some wiggle even after tighting while building and again after it was all put together. I suggest that you get a 6in mattress for this bed. We had a 14 inch and provided no safety so we bought another mattress. 90% of this build I was able to do by myself. Just a few times I had to ask a helper to hold something up. It was pretty easy to follow and came with many extra pieces. My daughter loves it!

Nice bed, easy to assemble. Kids love it. A little shaky when climbing up or down, but stable so far.
