Q&A(3)

Q: Does "jerky tenders" mean these treats are easier for my senior dog to chew than the regular jerky treats?

submitted by gg - 3 years ago
  • A: These are flexible but not super soft. They are not hard like most dog jerky treats but if your dog has a real hard time eating this may be a bit tough.

  • A: Hello, my name is Tiana and I am with Full Moon Pet. That is a good question, and I am happy to assist. The Jerky tenders are a product that is slightly thicker and may be of a slightly softer consistency than our jerky products. If you have a pup that is looking for a softer treat,we also have our Training Treats which are softer as well as smaller. I hope this helps.

Q: First question, what kind of ingredient is smoke flavor? Second question why add extra salt? Vinegar is salty also.

submitted by Darlene - 8 months ago
  • A: We use natural ingredients like salt to bind the ingredients to achieve the perfect soft and chewy jerky, and vinegar, to keep it fresher for longer without the use of artificial preservatives. The smoke flavor is produced by condensing hickory smoke into a liquid to get the salivating effect of smoked meats.

Q: "Sugar"????? Why????

submitted by CR - 4 years ago
  • A: Hello. My name is Tiana and I am with Full Moon Pet. We do use organic cane sugar in small amounts which helps keep our treats soft and pliable and should not cause any issues for your pets. We chose not to use glycerin, which can be found in other treat brands because it is a filler that is high in calories, and may cause digestive problems. As always, if you have particular concerns regarding your pet, we recommend speaking with your veterinarian. We hope this helps answer your question.
