Freshspun Basketweave Cotton Bed Blanket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While it isn’t the softest blanket, it isn’t rough either…it falls in-between the two. I decided to use this as a blanket to curl up in while reading or watching tv because it’s a little too plain-looking for my bedroom. It also isn’t really a grey blanket; I think it is more of a light oatmeal color. It’s a fairly thin blanket but it’s weighty enough to keep me warm without overheating, thanks to the basket weave texture. I wanted to see how durable the blanket is, so I put it through a cycle in the washing machine and let it dry on low. I noticed that the basket weave texture looked puckered in a couple of areas but for the most part the blanket was fine after taking it out of the laundry. All in all, this is a pretty good blanket. A better variety of colors would be even better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved this blanket. I enjoy the color and the texture. It fits my bed perfectly and adds just the right weight and warmth. Not to heavy and not to light, it’s just right. It washed and dried very well. No stitches came loose and it’s not stretched out or anything. The cotton weaving may have tightened up a bit but it’s hard to tell for sure because I didn’t take a photo of it over my hand until it was washed and dried.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This blanket reminds me a lot of a hospital blanket, which honestly some people might love😂 I don’t mind it. It’s nice and big, my kids are able to share it with me, and it’s not too heavy but does keep you warm. In terms of softness it’s not very soft, not not all blankets need to be. It’s not crispy or uncomfortable or anything.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good size but more on the thin side. The color says Grey but it is not very Grey and more of a tan color. It is not very soft, as i like soft plush blankets.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this is a great blanket! It's thin enough that it doesn't overheat you, yet it also is heavy enough to keep you warm on cold nights. I received a full/queen size, and it honestly was big enough to cover my king size bed. If you have pets (cats) with claws, it does snag pretty easily. That part is don't like, but it's a beautiful neutral color and I love it's versatility.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a beautiful neutral gray and definitely fits a queen bed! It appears to be well made. The only reason I took 1 star away is it is not soft at all! I didn't know what to expect with a cotton basket weave type blanket, but I am totally sad it's not soft. However, this would be a great breathable, light blanket for those hot summer days!

Like the color. Like the feel. Dislike that it snags easily from a simple scratch for example.

Got this blanket in a king size khaki color for our wedding as a gift almost 10 years ago and it’s still our favorite cozy blanket that we use ALL of the time! It’s still in great condition and we also wash it often since we have pets. We use it to sleep with in the summers because it keeps us cool. Hands down one of the best blankets and I’ll be buying more now that I know what blanket/brand it is. Also plan on buying it as a gift for others!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Color is gorgeous. The blanket is beautiful pretty thin but will make a nice throw blanket or extra layer on a chilly night. It is a king size and fits on my king size bed well. Wash cold on gentle and dry on low and came out great. It’s light enough that it breathes well. Overall, very happy with this blanket. Took off one star just because it isn’t super cozy.

Washed it before use and it destroyed my dryer. There was so much lint it went through my lint screen and I spent a lot of time cleaning out my dryer because of this horrible blanket. I should’ve taken a picture before I cleaned out the lint screen, it was like I had a brown piece of felt stuck to my lint screen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't sleep without a blanket or sheet. So this blanket was perfect. The cottonweave makes it breathable and light. It feels like a light throw. I have sensitive patches of skin on my elbows and legs and this blanket did not irritate my skin at all. Now they say it was for a king/Cali king but that sizing is off. This fit my queen bed only. However, I would purchase multiple of these blankets.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So so soft and breathable, 100% cotton, beautiful light sage color, perfect to cozy up on the couch and read book to my kid. It’s not heavy, king size, very easy to wash and fold. Since it’s 100% cotton, it will only get softer with every wash and will last for a long time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a beautiful, airy blanket. The color is a soft safe green just like in the photo. It washed well and so comfortable for warm summer nights. I used on a queen bed instead of a comforter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a pretty light green - think like a light sage green. It is a large blanket, which is awesome. Our alternative down comforter is 120x120 for our king bed and this nearly matches the size. I love that! Being 100% cotton should hold up well. The texture reminds me of the “hospital” blankets we had as kids that were light but cozy, only softer. Now to throw it in the wash and use it! I will probably lay it on the low edge of our bed.

Wash it first to remove excess lint. It's exactly what I wanted, a lightweight blanket for warm nights.

I am a hot sleeper and my dogs sleep with me in bed so I use a flat sheet under and on top of this blanket and it’s the perfect amount of warmth but also protects the blanket from snags from the dogs. You definitely have to keep an eye on it in the dryer and clean the lint trap every 10 or 15 minutes but that doesn’t bother me, I will be ordering more.

This blanket has had a weird smell since getting and still has after washing. Almost like a waxy smell. Besides that it is a great blanket and just what I was looking for

Love this blanket! It shed a lot when I put it in the dryer (as expected) but it came out lovely.
