I love this quilt. I use it for winter- it’s like a weighted blanket. Only downside is that it weighs 10lbs- which can be a bit much for a residential washer and dryer. I now take it to my local washeteria and have them do it with the commercial equipment. Totally worth it though! Highly recommend!

I bought the green one for our guest room. We slept in the guest room for a night and then I had to buy one in gray for our bedroom! It’s like a giant weighted blanket! We only use it when the temperatures drop, but it is so snuggly warm when we do. I did buy the king for a queen size bed and as others have said, it shrinks a bit and fades some after washing. The coziness makes up for that!

Colors don't match the photos.

Did the printer run out of ink after you took the product photos? These blankets look nothing like the colors pictured. I just had one delivered in dark teal and it looks more like a denim color. There is almost no resemblance to the photo in any light. I'd seen the rose color in the store and remembered thinking it looked more like red strings on a white background than "rose" too. If I were Target, I probably wouldn't have accepted these products from the factory and I would have taken new photos to reflect the true colors before selling them.

I decided to write a review after owning this quilt for YEARS. It's only gotten comfier over the years... Yes it fades in the wash for that worn in look, yes it's a quilt so it's rather thin, It IS heavy ! I bought it in a size King, it's huge, it's a king. No strings, nothing falling apart, it is truly quality in a blanket that I can foresee having for many more years. Personally I don't think it looks beautiful or anything lol, it's purely for comfort. It's no thick duvet poofy comforter ya know ? Enjoy !

The dark fig is more of a dark plum/purple color vs a dark chocolate brown shown in the photos for any product. Was pretty disappointed as I was really loving the brown color shown. Normally I love casaluna bedding, and this quilt. Hoping they just come back with the washed black color.

Shrinking

I have never had a problem with a casaluna blanket until now. I use to have the sage green in a queen and NEVER had problems with it but after getting a new king bed. I got the cream color quilt in a king and it just keeps shrinking and shrinking when I follow the directions on how to machine wash it. Now there are bleach stains on it after washing it the 3rd time. I don’t know what it is. I remember when I first bought it, the blanket use to touch the ground and now it shrinks so much, it’s starting to show my bed sheet!

I was really bummed/disappointed with mine because I absolutely loved the color of the teal one, but the stitching/sewing on the edges ripped and started to un-sew after just one wash. It doesn’t come with pillow shams either. I returned it the same day. Not sure if I had bad luck with a damaged one or not but even when I tried drying it, it was complicated for the whole quilt to dry evenly.

I purchased this quilt in white. It arrived in a box - no protective wrapping. The ribbon and paper label were broken and the quilt was not folded neatly. I'd read about others recieving returned items - but was skeptical. The quilt itself looked fine at first glance. Then I found a 3" ink pen stain on the front near the top. The reason it was returned the first time most likely. I am disappointed in Target's quality control system. This has never happened before and I am hoping others don't have the same experience. The quilt itself is lovely. The experience of receiving a returned/damaged item when ordering a new quilt - not so much.

I love the weight and feel of this quilt—it has a comforting heft, almost like a lightweight "weighted" blanket, and the natural fibers give it a beautiful texture. Unfortunately, when I took it out of the package, I noticed that not all the squares were sewn properly, making it look unfinished and cheap. For the price, I expected better craftsmanship. If quality control were improved, this would be a perfect quilt!

Definitely check this in-store. I ordered online, and was very disappointed when it arrived. This is a beautiful quilt at an amazing price. It's heavy-weight and perfect for keeping the right temp when sleeping. I have a queen bed and loved that it brushed the floor perfectly. However, the length shrunk on the first wash, and the color faded slightly despite following washing instructions.

They put the tags, 3 OF THEM, HANGING OFF AND LOOKING AND FEELING SO BAD, ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE QUILT. Who does this? It looks horrid, and if it was turned upside down, it would feel horrid. What a stupid way to go.
