Heavyweight Linen Blend Quilt - Casaluna™

I purchased this quilt in white. It arrived in a box - no protective wrapping. The ribbon and paper label were broken and the quilt was not folded neatly. I'd read about others recieving returned items - but was skeptical. The quilt itself looked fine at first glance. Then I found a 3" ink pen stain on the front near the top. The reason it was returned the first time most likely. I am disappointed in Target's quality control system. This has never happened before and I am hoping others don't have the same experience. The quilt itself is lovely. The experience of receiving a returned/damaged item when ordering a new quilt - not so much.

I love the weight and feel of this quilt—it has a comforting heft, almost like a lightweight "weighted" blanket, and the natural fibers give it a beautiful texture. Unfortunately, when I took it out of the package, I noticed that not all the squares were sewn properly, making it look unfinished and cheap. For the price, I expected better craftsmanship. If quality control were improved, this would be a perfect quilt!

Definitely check this in-store. I ordered online, and was very disappointed when it arrived. The texture and weave looked cheap compared to what was pictured, and it was clear the dye color had already faded and would continue to do so with future washes. I returned immediately. I’m very puzzled because for the price tag and the brand, I expected better.

Love the fabric and style but the the construction needs work. The threads don’t complete some of the square patterns and are pulling out. Never washed…this is right out of the package. It’s only going to get worse so unfortunately this one will be returned.

This is a beautiful quilt at an amazing price. It's heavy-weight and perfect for keeping the right temp when sleeping. I have a queen bed and loved that it brushed the floor perfectly. However, the length shrunk on the first wash, and the color faded slightly despite following washing instructions.

Came with tons of white thread that won’t come off

They put the tags, 3 OF THEM, HANGING OFF AND LOOKING AND FEELING SO BAD, ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE QUILT. Who does this? It looks horrid, and if it was turned upside down, it would feel horrid. What a stupid way to go.

I stayed at a Airbnb that had this quil on the beds . It was the perfect cover not to hot nor cold very cozy

We’ve had this quilt for over a year. The item quality is high, and it is still in great condition. It washes really well.

I read reviews before this purchase. Bought and spent $10 washing in a commercial washer/dryer and later noticed shoddy stitching in several places. Was very disappointed. Here's my review and you know what? I will never hear a word from Target. It's my tough luck.

Very nice quality! Love the color!

I just purchased this quilt for my new king-sized bed (with a new 15" tall mattress). It is HUGE! The dimensions say it is 106" wide, but I just measured it, and it is 118" wide. It hangs too far off of the sides. I will be returning it.

I like this quilt, but am very annoyed at finding a tacky little patch with raveling edges right in the middle of the top edge. I don't want to reverse the quilt and put the "patch" at the foot of the bed, because the edge at the other end has the sewn-in laundry tag. So either way, I've got something unsightly in a very noticeable position. And of course I only noticed the ugly patch AFTER I discarded the packaging and tore off the removable tags, so I'm not sure I can even return it.

I washed this before using. There was a minimum of 3 places the stitching was undone around the edges. One spot completely unraveled. You could tell it wasn't sewn properly. Plus there was a bad snag in the middle of the quilt. All this before even using it! I'm hoping I could still return it.

Very pretty, but the material feels too rough for bedding. Additionally it takes numerous rounds of drying to dry it.

This item has been on my wishlist forever, I am so glad I finally purchased it. I got the white king. I have a platform bed with no boxspring and a thick mattress, the bottom hem hangs just above the floor the way I make the bed. The sides extend below the mattress, I am pleased with the size. I love that it’s a slightly heavier weight, I like a bit of weight while I’m sleeping. It has been so cozy - Its not sweat inducing or chilly - it’s a perfect balance of warmth. It washed great (may have shrunk in the dryer) but it did take several dry cycles to actually get dry in my home (non commercial) dryer. No pilling or excessive lint occurred when washing. I would definitely purchase this again.

I’ve been eyeing this quilt for a while now so when I saw it on sale, I scooped it up so fast!! That said it being on sale makes up for the cons as I would NOT buy this at full price. I ultimately justified keeping it because it was 40% off and it is beautiful despite all the negatives. See cons + pros below. CONS: Has inconsistent stitching (pointed out in photos). The very middle of the quilt is stitched incorrectly, so no matter how I put it on the bed it will always show. Very annoying and poor quality control on the brand. Other reviewers noted this so it seems to be common. It takes MULTIPLE rounds to dry the quilt since you cannot dry it on high heat. You need to factor in a whole day to dry it ngl. It does NOT wash well for the first time, it unravelled and left strings behind that I had to cut off. PROS: I have a 2 inch mattress topper and the normal size king quilt fits the bed perfectly to cover the mattress and the topper! It is extremely soft and the weight is perfect for all year. I live in Florida where the weather fluctuates from 80° to 60° to 40° and it has been great! The white color is also gorgeous because it’s more of a cream white than a bright white.

Heavy weight, well made bedding. Purchased for our son for Christmas gift.

For a linen quilt, this one is very soft. I washed it in my regular washer with no problems. I dried it on low and it did take multiple cycles to completely dry, but it held up completely fine.
