Our Straight and Wavy Hair shampoo and conditioner contain a silicone called Propoxytetramethyl piperidinyl dimethicone (we know, it's a mouthful!) - we use it because it's an excellent conditioning and protecting agent that protects hair from thermal damage, adds shine, and helps give a soft, silky texture. Our Curly and Coily Hair shampoos and conditioners are silicone-free, since many with Type 3 and Type 4 hair follow the Curly Girl Method(TM) and prefer to avoid silicones. Our #hairgoal booster shots are all silicone-free!
