Q&A(5)

Q: Does it help oily and dry hair

submitted by Help - 1 year ago
  • A: Hi there, The clarifying shampoo for oily hair works well to remove mineral deposits, product build-up, excess oil, and silicones, too. We recommend using this once a week mixed with the straight shampoo on the other wash days. To combat dryness we recommend selecting one of our moisture hair boosters, such as deep condition.

Q: Do you have to use the boosters?

submitted by Eleanor - 10 months ago
  • A: Hi Eleanor, We love our shampoo and conditioner bases as standalone products as well - they're full of nourishing, hair-loving ingredients! But for the maximum #hairgoal results, we recommend adding 1-3 #hairgoal booster shots in.

Q: What are the ingredients in the conditioner? Does it contain silicones?

submitted by bemojii - 4 years ago
  • A: Hi there! The full ingredient list can be found on directly on the bottle for your convenience. Our Straight and Wavy Hair shampoo and conditioner contain a silicone called Propoxytetramethyl piperidinyl dimethicone (we know, it's a mouthful!) - we use it because it's an excellent conditioning and protecting agent that protects hair from thermal damage, adds shine, and helps give a soft, silky texture. Our Curly and Coily Hair shampoos and conditioners are silicone-free, since many with Type 3 and Type 4 hair follow the Curly Girl Method(TM) and prefer to avoid silicones. Our #hairgoal booster shots are all silicone-free!

Q: When compared to the customized products you sell through your website, how strong is the fragrance in the products that Target carries? Is the fragrance strength light, medium, or strong? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! :)

submitted by KW - 4 years ago
  • A: Hi there! The only fragrance offered in retail is our most popular nude (p)each. The fragrances are at slightly different levels than the 3 offered on our website, our retail fragrance level is closest to the medium level!

Q: The boosters are fragrance free. WHY couldn't you make the shampoos and conditioners fragrance free?? I can't use products with synthetic fragrance. What a bummer.

submitted by Katgirl - 4 years ago
  • A: Hi there! The fragrance is only one part of what goes into our products. All of our products are +92% plant-based. And we’ve lab tested our products to make sure they are dermatologically-tested, non-irritating, and safe for sensitive skin. If you'd like to explore more fragrance options you can check out our website and explore the further customization options we offer there (we can do more, like offer more fragrance options, when we mix it all up for you). Thank you!
