[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Oh, did I mention the price is as attractive? It arrived yesterday, we opened it, let it rest an hour and it's been occupied ever since. It's bolstered on three sides with sturdy, comfortable cushioning that keeps its shape. It's in a pretty, soft color, a velvety fabric. It is easy to remove the mattress as well as the bolster cushions to machine wash the cover. Reassembly is easy. It all zips back together quickly, nice and neat. Yes, a nice dog bed! I'm glad I found it and my dog absolutely loves it.

My Yorkie loves his couch. It was on sale for a incredible price a bonus. It’s really nicely made a great find. Please buy it your fur baby will love you for it. It’s really soft but firm.

Do not buy these beds. The fabric is extremely cheap and ripped on both of my dog beds within 3 months of use. I’ve had to restitch the fabric multiple times.

Orthopedic Foam Version: Just average, not like velvet waves

We have a velvet waves bed in the solid orthopedic foam which we LOVE so though I would just try a different style. Definitely NOT the same. First, it is a little confusing that not all the beds have the same foam options. I saw the option for orthopedic foam and figured it was the same as the "solid" orthopedic foam we have in the other bed. It is not. Orthopedic foam is the soft egg crate style. Not sure why you wouldn't just offer all the same options for all the beds. I get that it's partially my fault for not looking more closely, but the names are very similar, they should be more clearly defined. Also the picture should depict what type of foam is in that bed. I assumed it was the solid foam because that dog is supported and high off the ground, but since they apparently do not offer the solid foam this must be a picture with the gel or memory foam because I have a german shepherd and the orthopedic foam was a pancake under her...fine for small dogs but my big girl. The 5 stars for the return process, though. I sent a message and within one day the money was back in my acct and now I can go ahead and get another Velvet Waves bed.

Color is nice and what I wanted but it’s definitely not as thick and fluffy as it looks in the pictures. The piece surrounding the bed looks like like it would be temperpedic but it’s not. Probably wouldn’t recommend

What I love about this bed is that the cover is removable and 100% machine washable. All you do is remove the inserts and it’s not a big fuss. I have two chihuahuas, 5lb and 7lb and they both comfortably fit on the medium size together. I would definitely buy another one if we needed it.
