I bought this because I had a significant ankle sprain this spring and was trying to find something for stability that I could wear in my shoes. It fits inside of shoes without issue but the bottom elastic part is too tight so it ends up causing more pain than it relieves. After just a few hours I have to take it off due to the pain I am a size 8.5 women’s shoe and have skinny feet so it shouldn’t have caused such an issue. The rest of it is a good design and I like that it can be worn on R or L, it is just not a good fit.

It is like an ace bandage but stronger tension and the Velcro keeps it in place. Reversible depending on which foot you need it for. Slimmer than the other braces and can be worn easier with a sneaker.

At the end of the strap, there should be a way for your to adhere the strap to your ankle. It is "double" sided, so that one half of the hook fasteners adheres to the strap and the other side lifts to adhere to your ankle. Only issue i had is working out how to wear it. The instructions do not match the image on the box. The box image is correct and i managed to achieve that instead. You need to wrap the bandage around the bottom of your foot before bringing it up to around our ankle.

I agree with those who say the illustrated instructions are not helpful. I have applied in the way the diagram seems to show but there is an excess of bandage bulging out on inner ankle - doesn't seem right. Yet to wear the support. I wouldn't recommend the product yet.

I purchased this for my 13 year old daughter to wear at night. She fractured her ankle but was allowed to remove her air cast to sleep. She was able to put the brace on in just a couple of min with no help from me. She showed it to me just to make sure it was on properly and it was. I've seen reviews where people say this runs small, so for reference my daughter wears a women's size 8 shoe. She said it's applying a nice amount of pressure and is very comfortable.

I wasn't actually able to wear this ankle brace, so I cannot comment on how well it works in use. It seems like it would be very supportive. My problem is that I cannot wear it as the strap that wraps around is way too short, and I have tiny, dainty ankles!!! I don't know who this would fit! The sleeve itself fit great, but to wrap the strap all the way around to support the injured part of my ankle, it would then be way too tight. It couldn't be wrapped around to look like the picture. Just seems like a design flaw on that one part of it, but it made it unusable to me.

It works—after a fashion. The images for how to apply don’t make a lot of sense, but the wrap around brace for general use has the same images, which leads me to believe the pictures where the strap wraps under the foot are inaccurate. And WHY is it on Y available for s-m? it fits—sorta—but my mother is fussing at me about it cutting off my circulation. This brace needs to be available in m-l as well—there ARE women with larger ankles whose ankles give them issues, and having to use the other brace is annoying—it doesn’t fit me either.

Still not sure how to wear this. Instruction says wrap over top of foot but pic show it going under foot also? no matter which way I do it it doesn't look like the pic when I'm done
