Growing up in California, Gallo salami was a staple in our house for lunches. Plain and simple, two slices of sour dough bread, mayonnaise, and a double layer of Gallo salami. That was lunch! Also makes for a great topping for homemade pizza too! I grab a handful, some carrots, celery and a chunk of extra sharp cheese, toss into a zip-lock bag, and instant on-the-road snack.
