I especially like 2 things about this Paddle: 1. the Graphite surface is unpainted and seems to give me better control of the Ball 2. It has a surprisingly thick handle that works well for me even though I don't have large hands.

Playing for 8 years in tournaments as a 4/4.5 player, I have owned many different paddles from multiple brands and I can't think of any paddle I liked more than the Obsidian 13. It produces more power and has plenty of control and its spin capabilities are top notch. I quickly bought an additional one for myself and one for my son's Christmas gift.

I have been looking at the Obsidian 13 for some time and finally decided to purchase the paddle based on a recommendation. I’ve been playing with the Obsidian 13 for 2 months and I have seen an improvement in my game. I like the extra length of the grip which it has help me with controlling my dinks at the net. This paddle is light and has some great power. I recommend this paddle for the player who wants to advance their game.

I’m a 3.5 player. Didn’t think a paddle could make such a noticeable difference. Bigger sweet spot, more power, and much more English on the ball with no more effort.

I love my RCF obsidian. I have used the 16 and the 13 and both are fantastic but I prefer the 13. Many people don’t think of GAMMA as one of the top brands in the industry, but I have tried all of the current paddles out there and I keep coming back to my obsidian. I also love that GAMMA has the same technology as those other brands at half the cost. Always quality from Gamma and extremely user friendly for all play levels. Why do you think Megan Fudge is so successfull on PPA, APP and MLP. Try the obsidian you will love it.

Obsidian 13mm RCF is a fantastic paddle! It has a ton of “pop” along with great control and touch! Off center hits are forgiving! Highly recommend this paddle!
