These are delicious for vegan meatballs. Nice flavor, size, and nutrition with a good amount of protien. I suggested cooking them in your pasta sauce so they are not too dry.

These had a weird overpowering taste of what I thought was anise. After looking at other reviews I see it's fennel. What kind of psychopath puts this much fennel in meatballs? As for the texture, it's the old fashioned rubbery soy+TVP combo, when there are much better plant-based meats in the market in the past few years. If you want to convert meat-eaters to vegetarianism this is definitely not the way.

I just bought these and i experienced a similar thing to those below me. I cooked them and then cut into one of the meatballs and it had black tar like substance on the inside. I threw the meatballs out. Luckily it was the first one i cut in to and hadnt eaten any of them yet. I cut open the rest and they were fine. Very concerning.

So good! I've had these at thanksgiving and Christmas because I don't eat turkey. I have it with cranberry sauce and mushroom gravy or onion gravy. So yummy! I don't feel like I'm missing out on festive dinner at all

Delicious. Cook exactly as instructed (simmer from frozen in hot spaghetti sauce for about 15 minutes) for the best result. Great texture and flavor. I honestly think you could fool some meat eaters with these, especially kids.

My boyfriend and I love these for a quick dinner! Each bag has 12 balls, and we each have 3 per meal. You could just have 2 for a smaller meal. We pair them with marinara (homemade or Rao’s), Barilla Protein+ spaghetti (which truly tastes 95% the same as regular pasta, miles better than Banza), and a dusting of parmesan. Make sure to follow the “simmer in sauce” preparation instructions - they turn out great this way! First I tried panfrying them and then simmering in sauce, but that made them tough and chewy, and the browning didn’t add any flavor anyway. They are pretty fennel-forward, but we think it goes nicely with marinara. I do think they’d be more versatile if the manufacturer dialed back the fennel.

These are delicious and Filling! I like the Gardein products better than Morningstar for this type of item. The meatballs are esp delicious with a spicy Italian flavor. Perfect to add to any dish you can think of: scrambled eggs, pasta, fried rice, or any plain dish to add some flavor. Even for a simple meatball hoagie with sprinkled Asiago, green pepper & onion. Or just plain with sauce as a quick snack. I love these and they are easy to heat in the microwave. If adding to a skillet dish, I recommend thaw in the MW, then finish cooking in the skillet. Best of all, I won't be catching any Mad Cow disease.

The Gardein meatballs are the best plant-based option on the market in my family's opinion. They have the best flavor and texture ratio. I normally like to pan fry them with onions, mushrooms, and peppers to make poboys. I used to make them with marinara but switched to dry seasoning blend. Add your favorite condiments, dress it, press it, and serve with fries. 10/10 recommend

I've been eating these for years with spaghetti and on sub sandwiches. Just as good as beef without all the downsides. I heat them for a couple minutes in the spaghetti sauce in the micro and they come out perfect.

Wanted an alternative for my kids to have something to eat with friends. They love it and so do their friends (teens). Use it in pasta with marinara, vegan Alfredo, and some meatball subs (chai cheese/toasted), and left over meatballs with some hashbrowns.

This is my go-to meatballs and spaghetti dinner. I also use these to make perfect pizzas and sub sandwiches. It says that this product is Kosher and that's a real plus for me. The taste is wonderful, the texture is meat-like, and so versatile with recipes.
