This garden kneeler and seat is designed to enhance the gardening experience, providing comfort and support for those who struggle with kneeling or getting up. Many guests appreciate its sturdy construction and dual functionality, allowing it to be used as both a kneeler and a seat. They need to find a better glue. I have hardly used it and it looks like I just took it out of the box. It was on the porch and the kneeler cushion fell to the ground, completely unglued from the plywood. I may duct tape the top cushion to the bottom. This was a waste of money.

After only two months of use, the crossbar on one side bent and the kneeler is no longer usable. I weigh 145 lbs. Simply sat on the kneeler and it collapsed. The metal is bent and I cannot straighten it.

I had one of these years ago which was durable and lasted for years. Structurally the bench is solid. The pads are not secured correctly now.

I bought this for myself for gardening. My husband started using it for setting up Christmas Decorations along the front flowerbed. Buying a second one to have at our summer cabin.
Many plus features except how to close easily

The best part about this kneeler is the sturdiness and dual purpose. Like other mentions in the review, the legs are locked into place once opened. Is there a tip to closing them.....like pinching in a side? If you can't fold the legs, then don't advertise it as a plus. The video shows all of the obvious features like unfolding the legs and using it as a kneeler or seat, but the video should include how to easily fold the legs back especially given that there are other complaints about this being an issue.
Not good in the weather.

The cushions have fallen off. I guess I'll try a glue that can withstand temperature fluctuations.

I have purchased at least 40 items over the years from Gardeners.com hoses/lifetime trowel/potting trowel/4 raised beds/ trubs/garden scissors,/rubber pathways/seed starting kits/seed starting mix/and more For the most part I have been pleased with the quality. This bench was a gift from my daughter-I have no receipt. This has been stored in a shed out of direct sunlight when not used.

The legs are too stiff for me fold up the bench. Costs $45 to return it. (shipping was free to me because this was part of a multiple order) so I am stuck with it. Too expensive from California.

I bought this for myself a year or so ago. I love that it can be used for sitting or kneeling, and it folds for storage. However, the paint chips and the metal underneath has rusted a bit, and the pads both have melted off in the heat here. They are only glued on.

I had considered buying this kneeler for several seasons, but wasn't sure I would use it. Last year my kids gave it to me for Mother's Day. Now, I can't imagine gardening without it! It is as much a part of gardening as a spade for me…I use it every day! The handles on the kneeler side make it so much easier to get up after planting or weeding. I use the seat for planting containers, etc. I love this product!

I am so impressed with the quality and comfort of this garden kneeler/seater. It is solidly built, high quality, and the pads on both sides are thick and comfortable. The only wish I had is that it had a water bottle holder on the side.
Some problems

While the metal sections are well designed to help one stand up from kneeling (and to cushion the knees), the slipperiness of the cushion is a problem. I find myself sliding if the kneeler is not perfectly level. I suggest it be redesigned to be less slippery. The cushion is already separating from the unit on first use. I suggest the cushion be attached more firmly the kneeler. The separately-bought tool pouches are merely hung on the kneeler bars, so everytime I use the bars to push myself up, at least one pouch falls off. I suggest this be redesigned with some velcro to hold the pouch in place.

With in a day I realized I would not be able to store, with in a week, the pads fell off because the glue didn't like the heat of the sun. I have had it for over 2 years, still cannot fold to store, the legs are now bent from trying, so I can't sit on it. The top smooth pad is now completely separated and use to kneel in garden on its own, will use frame every once in a while to help me get up from the ground.

This is a wonderful product for someone with Hip and / or back problems. It has really helped to keep me enjoying my gardening even though I have hip and back problems. Allows ease of getting up from flower beds and then simply turning it up to sit for a rest! Well worth it!

Broke First Use

So I asked for this great kneeler for Christmas because both my Husband and I are starting to get into gardening this season, but it sounds like we got in at just the wrong time. All the reviews I was reading said this was a great product for people with bad knees. It was sturdy, adaptable, and seemingly more than cost worthy, but after a single use, I was proven that I needed to do even more research. The Portable Foldable Kneeler & Garden Seat I received was cheaply made with a plastic panel, NOT WOOD, between two thin foam pads. First use, the plastic base cracked and both pieces of foam, which were pretty sparsely glued on, began to fall off. We will be contacting customer service.
