Summary of reviews
The raised bed corners are highly praised for their durability, ease of use, and ability to create attractive garden beds. Guests appreciate the quality of materials, with many noting that the corners hold up well over time, even when exposed to the elements. The product is designed to work seamlessly with milled lumber, making assembly straightforward. However, some guests suggest improvements, such as additional screw holes and better compatibility with rough-cut wood.

I spent the whole day today cleaning out my truck bed and driving to the lumberyard and the landscape yard for soil. You watch the video and it looks super easy to slide the boards right into the corners. I had my drill ready and everything to pre-drill the holes for the screws. The lumber doesn't fit! I really thought this was going to be an easy project I could do myself. I even had the lumberyard cut my boards to the dimensions I needed. Now I'm super frustrated and I'm going to have to figure out to notch the boards to fit. I can't return the lumber. And I've got to get all that dirt out of my truck for camping next week. I'm sure packing up and returning. The corners is also expensive considering what I've spent already on this project. I bought rough cut redwood because it was what the lumberyard recommended for garden beds.
A great investment

I bought my first set of corners almost 15 years ago in the 12" size. This summer I redid my entire garden and wanted to make new, taller beds that are 23". I disassembled the old beds and removed the old rotting wood and rusty screws. The corners were in near perfect condition, including the paint. I was truly astonished by their good condition. I stacked two old ones and bought some new 23" corners. It is hard to tell from a few feet away which are new and which have been in the ground in NH for almost 15 years. This is a GREAT product!

Easy to use with the precut cedar planks also sold on the website. Durable and look good. Easy and forgiving to get 90 degree angle. Would be better with one extra drill hole and screw
YES! They are great

I was happy to see how heavy duty the metal was. I needed to buy other screws, the drill easily stripped the screw heads that came with it ( too soft metal?). I got the 23" tall brackets and used 2x6 redwood boards....there was an extra inch open left at the top once my boards were put in, so had to custom cut some wood strips to fill in the gap at the top. I purchased sets of the support braces for inside the corners but really didnt need them for my aprox. 3x6 box...it was heavy enough by itself. The corner brackets made the box easy to construct and make it square. I was able to use locally bought wood and cut it to the size I wanted down to the last fraction of an inch to fit my area perfectly. I doubt I would have been able to square the corners without the brackets that did that for me...as a 70 year old lady with no prior wood working skills I accomplished the task alone!
Sturdy but.......

The top and bottom boards could use a few more screws. Get rid of the plastic caps, the caps are cheaply made and look bad after being in the sun. Allow customers to order custom length, even at a premium price.

The cedar wood they sell to go with these is great quality and the corner brackets as well. Just be aware that even though they sell the wood and brackets, they do not match up perfectly. I had an inch of open bracket in every corner. Ended up flipping the bed and sinking the bracket corners into the ground. I also treated the wood with Garden Seal and reinforced the 8' side of the bed with some extra cedar I purchased from Gardeners as well. Probably not necessary but wanted to make sure.

Flexibility -- I bought 8" corners thinking I'd use 2x8 lumber, but ended up with 2x10 because of availability. Two of the holes weren't drilled in one corner, but they're sending a replacement.

# sweepstake This is a no-brainer why I love my 12 inch raised bed corner set and did recommend to my friends😊 this is my first time having a raised bed garden. I was concerned on how to connect the corners of the raised bed. I saw a video on Gardener's supply company, about the raised bed corner sets. I ordered two sets for my first raised bed to try them out. It was very easy put it together by myself. Philip screws were included along with caps to give it a nice finish look😊 in conclusion I did order more sets to create more raised beds for my garden😊
Lifetime use is no joke.

My cousin bought these for a project over ten years ago. He got rid of the steps, but saved these corners. He gave them to me and they are still perfect years later for my raised beds. Now I'm buying more.
I would highly recommend this product

Love the product just wish I knew that "standard lumber" and "fall, milled lumber" were different and have different dimensions; this product fit's STANDARD (1.5") lumber. I'm lucky my mill had some.
The corners worked out perfect for the rough cut cedar.

I love these corners. I use cedar lumber. The 2 boxes against the house in this photo are 3 years old. The box in the lower left is brand new.
I'll purchase these again!

suggest using your own screws - the supplied ones strip and two of the heads broke off when I attempted to reposition.

I was excited about this product until getting down to assembly. 1x6s had to be planed at ends to make tenons in order to fit into these units. Bad luck for anyone without those tools.

We are sorry to hear that you had to plane the ends of your wood to fit the Lifetime Raised Bed Corners. This product is made to be used with standard milled lumber only. Milled lumber sizes are always smaller than the size listed since the measurements are given for the rough-cut size of the wood before it is milled. This is an industry standard. If you have any questions or concerns, please give us a call at 1-800-876-5520.
