I just brought this trellis in from outside, all joints rusted. Very disappointed in garden supply quality of this product. I have purchased other items from garden supply and have been thrilled.

Bought this last winter, couldn't wait for spring to come! Planted Morning Glory's on the trellis, well took only a couple of months and the whole trellis fell over. My bottom and second up links bent, ok straightened the links out and two days later back on the ground it was. I just glad it didn't put an expensive clematis on it. Don't recommend very disappointed in the quality. I also had a similar problem with the Titan squash tunnel

We love these. Bought this for a flowering wisteria vine . However we are using them as supports for our raspberry plants. They are great.

First time using this company, this trellis is absolute garbage. The joints don't align at all and you can't really move it without it coming apart. There will always be a gap at the joints so I foresee water rusting it out very quickly. Some of the paint is already chipped. Looks very cheap up close. So disappointed as it was exactly the style and height I needed.

I ignored the bad reviews and when the trellises were assembled I all the joints did not align and seem very flimsy. Doubt they will last long. Cheaply made compared to another brand I bought.

This is NOT with the money. These come in 4 tiers, where you have to insert the lower vertical supports into the metal tube of the next tier's vertical support. Then the whole thing is capped off with a domed top. I initially bought 2 of these to hold up grape vines. The grape vines bent the metal supports and the structures fell over. NOTE- they are not strong enough to support grape vines. I was able to salvage undamaged sections from the original two to recreate one whole complete structure. I then tried to use it to support a clematis. It did not last a season before some tiers separated and fell over. When they fall over the vertical supports bend making it nearly impossible to put the structure back together. If you choose to buy these I would recommend they be used only with a light weight plant, and that you tie the tiers together so that they don't separate and fall over.
Looks great and my Hyacinth Bean is grabbing hold of the tre

Great looking trellis. Will have to see if it can handle the hyacinth bean this year. Plan to move my clematis to it next year. Or possibly buy a second one.

I bought a similar product from this company about 10 years ago and it is still sturdy and solid. This product is nothing like the old one. The metal is thin and the construction is poor. The vertical components do not line up so that water can get in and ultimately cause rust-out. Very disappointed.

This nice looking and quite tall (I got the large) trellis was super easy to assemble and install. I use it to support a flowering vine and as a focal point in my garden. It adds nice structure. The finish looks like it will last and look good for years to come.

Had to take off rubber tips from legs to assemble it. Consequently it won't stay together. Have your products made someplace where they don't use forced labor and there's a possibility of some quality control. Can't believe we paid almost a hundred bucks for this thing!

The product is great! So easy to put together and very pretty. My one criticism is that there is a lot of plastic in the packaging, and the plastic tightly taped to the ends of each section was very difficult to get off.

I bought this obelisk for a clematis vine in my garden. I love the height, overall look, and ease of assembly. Even without a vine, the obelisk looks great on its own, and adds some visual interest to the space. Definitely recommend.

Easily topples with a strong gust of wind. Poor construction doesn't allow one piece to completely rest on the one below, I even tried gluing together, to no avail. Paint began to peal off almost immediately. It's been a year and there are several rust spots. Too expensive fir this poor quality.

Bought both 7' and 5'. Both going back. So wonky, it hurt my eyes. I wanted strong, sturdy & parallel. This is not that. Not up to Gardener's Supply standards.

I never leave bad reviews, but these are truly awfully made. I have purchased other obelisks from Gardeners that I was very happy with. These are awful. The sections fit together poorly, pop apart if you so much as breathe near them, and already came with missing paint so will be rusted in no time. It would be too much of a hassle to return so instead I have used black zip ties to keep them together until the plants growing on them are big enough to do that job. Not worth half the money they're charging for these.

I purchased 4 Jardin obelisks a few months ago for my clematis and was really happy with them. I didn't see them in stock when I needed two more and decided to try the Essex since they look very similar. The Essex is AWFUL, fits together poorly, constantly pops apart, and is already missing paint. It is too much of a hassle to return both of them, so I have zip tied them together for now until the plants growing on them can grow enough to help keep them together. If you'd like to buy an obelisk from Gardeners try the Jardin instead. The quality of the Essex is NOT worth the price.
