For cyclists FTP is a very important measurement that Garmin can’t find a way to implement so it makes sense and helps the cyclists

Upgraded to the Fenix 7 pro after my Vivoactive 4 screen began to delaminate. I’ve been wearing Garmin watches for over a decade. The functionality and rugged durability of this Fenix 7 takes me back to wearing the original Garmin Tactix while in the military. Almost any feature the fitness enthusiasts and outdoor explorers could want are included in this watch. So if you’re considering buying a watch to provide fitness, wellness and activity data that’s durable enough for hard use look no further.

I have a Forerunner 945 that I really like for its versatility, but now that I have this Fenix I am impressed with everything it has, especially the battery life and other gadgets, the only thing Garmin needs is more integration with Apple's iOS. By the way, I have (I had it as a gift to my son) an Apple Watch Series 9, but it has nothing to do with the functionality of this Fenix 7 Pro. I am very happy with this new watch.

The watch works great for the different activities I perform like running, biking, swimming, hiking, skiing. The operation sometimes it gets a little tricky as there are too many options and some of them change with updates. There are some measurements like the FTP in biking that GARMING makes no sense. This is a software issue that affects multiple products not just the Fenix 7.

I have wanted a Garmin on my wrist for a while. I had purchased my wife one but I was still sporting an Apple Watch. Which, if you just want to receive calls and texts, that's fine. I felt the need for more. I had the desire to know more about where I stood with training, sleep, and more. This "watch" does not let down. From sleep quality to training readiness. I feel more aligned with my goals for training and life.

I am very impressed with this watch, coming from an instinct 2, this fenix does everything! The only thing is I wish the outer bezel was polycarbonate like the instinct vs the titanium for scratches.

I was excited to get my Fenix 7 Pro Sapphire until I turned it on and saw how flat the screen is. Flat as in no contrast, no vibrant colors, reds are a pale pink, blues are light and not bright, seems like contrast adjustment would be a very valuable tool, unfortunately garmin didn't. I was replacing a gen 1 Instinct which is colorless and only has the digital black. I'm not at all thrilled about this as it was expensive, to expensive to have a crappy screen

Traded up from a 945LTE. Touch screen works great and is easy to read. Solar charge feature works very well. I spent the day doing yard work and noticed that it was almost fully recharged from 24% when I started.

Awesome watch. It's very insightful for monitoring your sleep and other health metrics. Many great functions. My only complaint is i wish it was sleeker with a slimmer profile like the apple watch. Taking long sleeve shirts off can be a bear. There are other garmin watches that likely fit the bill. a great watch.

Gift . I wanted more functions and maping and ecg etc. However instructions to set up just a list of different workouts is terrible. Can't label them appropriately, data screens can't be changed easily. I've worn garmin watches for multi sports and single sports for 20 + years. You seem to be totally unable to write instructions. It's terrible.
