I recently purchased the Instinct 2X Solar Tactical Watch; and, I really dig it. I dig it for many reasons, but I will provide my top reasons: - Solar Charge: the solar panel is large and effectively sucks up the solar from the sun; hence, depending on the duration of my outdoor exposure, I’ve seen my battery increase to one extra day. - Display: Under direct sunlight, the display is bright, and the complications are easy to read. In the dark and low light conditions, the back-light does a great job in lighting up the display. - Navigation: the GPS system quickly locks on to satellites in seconds when I’m outside executing the Save Location feature or while doing an activity. The Track-Back navigation line is easy to follow. I like that the Track-Back can be accessed directly from an activity, such as walking, running, and hiking. I don’t need to jump to another application — I just hit pause or stop in the activity, and Track-Back is in the menu options of the activity I’m using. - Torch: I use it all the time — so useful! - Looks: Great looking watch. - Comfort: Comfortable to wear. It is lightweight; hence, I don’t realize I’m wearing it until I need to use it. - Water-resistant: I’ve taken it out for my ocean swim, indoor swim, bath, and showers — no leaks. I dig that the Instinct 2X Solar Tactical is simple in its looks and functions but so advanced and useful in its operations. Check 6! /s/ Alfonso Faustino

I wear it everyday for every activity much better than an Apple Watch in my opinion. The solar charging and tracking is great for backpacking/camping. I’ve had it a couple months and only had to charge it a couple times.

I'm a big fan of all things Garmin. From nav equipment to bicycle computers to watches. I've had plenty of these. My Garmin Vivo active 5 was having issues from age, so I decided to try the Instinct 2X solar. Man do I love it!

Awesome watch, I only use a few features on the watch but it does everything I need it to do. It took some getting used to but I don't really have any complaints besides I need to wear it a little tighter than I'd like to have it read my heart rate and sleep, which it is what it is. Watch is great.

My brother has one and loves it. I have a Fenix 3 I really love and still use. I just happen to fall into this watch, price was to good to pass up. I have yet to take it into the woods but if it is anything close to my Fenix I am sure I will love it.

Bought this a few weeks ago because I had to deploy as a Marine and my apple watch doesn’t last more than a few hours without charge. Another feature that was important was the ‘stealth mode’ which turns off all emission for spectrum concealment which is an issue from the Ukrain-Russian conflict. I value my life so apple, you’re out! Garmin you’re in! There are so many great features that help as a military man such as the ballistics feature and the MGSG coordinate feature if you use GPS. I haven’t had to the use the land navigation feature but it is there in case I need it. The app is great too and Im looking forward to connecting to a computer soon so I can try the maps feature. I definitely plan to use this as a daily watch as it is so helpful with seeing how Ive been sleeping and how active I am. It can tell very accurately when I am fatigued and can tell me why! Usually because of sleep. Keeping better track of my sleep has helped with a less intake of energy drinks which also compounds to how much I cam push myself in training in the gym and during martial arts. The Body battery feature is awesome and the stress tracker is very accurate . I occasionally check my stress level and practice my breathing prayers to bring it low which helps with sleep and compounds to training results. The tactical color is also good. Black is good and matches most casual clothes + is authorized for wear in the field. It was a pain to link to my phone though but Im confident that is a stumbling block apple products use to push people to buy their eco system products.

When it’s connects it works great best watch I’ve ever had. Problem is when I’m working it tends to reset itself and then refuses to reconnect. I’ve fixed it once but it has done it again and now I can’t get it to reconnect

The altitude is not accurate after the 1st week, important feature if you want to use the tactical function like jumpmaster or ballistics. Needing Cell connection for those features may not be possible in most area's where you need.

I’ve had the watch two weeks and still haven’t had to charge it, even though it’s winter and I’m using all the features all the time. It has everything you could possibly need in a watch and a few things you probably don’t but you never know! Recommended this to two friends and they’re already wearing them. Awesome watch with fantastic features.
