Love the simplicity of the watch. It looks more like a watch vs a smart device. Love the GPS built in feature.

Not very intuitive. I struggled to get used to the buttons and missed tracking some workouts but now I get it. Love the look--I'm complimented on it a lot!

Too small to read

I returned this Lily 2 Active because the face is small *(which I like), but you cannot read too well. Not many choices on the watch faces either. Just about 4 and that is IT !!! Cannot add any. The gold background it pretty, but with the white lettering, again, not too easy to read.

A long time Fitbit versa user, I started to look for a replacement since google took over. I tried Apple Watch for a few days but did not like having a phone on my arm and the design is bulky and uncomfortable for small wrists. This is exactly what I wanted all in one, fitness tracking, minimal notifications, and light stylish design for small wrists. Still trying to learn all of the fitness wellness features as they are top notch and focus more in depth on fitness and wellness. Looks great, nice and light. Wish there were a few more band options. Hope this review helps for those looking for watch that is stylish, works for small wrists, and has amazing fitness features.

I love the way it looks. My first run it didn’t track my pace correctly. I would be running, look at it, and my pace was 0.0. This was disappointing because I’m not sure if my distance or pace were correct. I’m going to take it out for a run one more time and see

I have been an Apple Watch user for years. My roommate got a Garmin almost a year ago and was always bragging about how it was so much better than his old Apple Watch. I started doing research and finally decided to make the jump. I love the battery life! I only have to charge my watch every 4-5 days. That’s with my activity and busy schedule as a nurse. The watch itself is beautiful and lightweight. It looks classy and elegant and like an actual watch instead of a smart watch. I am very satisfied with this watch. I would say to watch the tutorials on how to use everything to make it easy. Once I did it was easy to navigate through my watch.

Perfect for my small wrist and love all the data and insights I get from it. The only thing I wish it had the ability to do is download custom courses for running, that would make it the perfect watch.

Lily 2 Active is a petite powerhouse

Full disclosure: I not "athletic" but I love to walk. When we decided to upgrade our Fitbits my husband wanted to buy a Garmin but I was intimidated. As I said, I'm not athletic, and I have small wrists. I got a the lower end Lily 2. For my recent birthday he upgraded my watch to the Lily 2 Active. This watch is a petite powerhouse! Built-in GPS is excellent! There are 2 added buttons that make starting and stopping activities easier. The battery is much better in this watch. Comfortable to wear, easy to use and I'm crushing challenges! Me!! Crushing challenges!! My Lily 2 Active is a confidence booster and I love it!!!

Inaccurate Indoor Walking/Treadmill Tracking

2 out of 5 stars
Cat111 - 3 months ago

My main exercise is walking on a treadmill, and the Lily 2 does not accurately track the distance you walk when you walk on a treadmill. I tried both the Indoor Walking activity and Treadmill activity and when I walk 2-3 miles, it doesn't even track it as 1 mile. The highest I have ever gotten to was .8 miles. Surprisingly, it accurately tracks up to 0.21 miles (in line with the treadmill) then the tracking slows exponentially. Everything else is fine for the most part. Though I kind of miss having the option to turn off an alarm from my watch with my old Samsung one. I've had this watch for 3 weeks now so maybe things will improve, but so far I like everything except the tracking on the indoor walking and treadmill activities.

I've had my Lily active 2 for about 3 weeks and love the activity tracking features and the built-in GPS even more. I can workout without my phone in my pocket! I love it! I also live the spo2 for sleep tracking. I can't quite figure out how to view messages that came in earlier. And the timer is stuck on 0:38 and I can only change the minutes, so I need to figure that out too.

Very Disappointed

I used a Vivosmart 4 for over 4 years and I loved it. On this device the App sleep time graph does not show an actual timeline of sleep stages. I used to know the actual time because there was a time line that actually showed the hours and minutes of each stage. Also I don’t appreciate the sleep score telling me I had a bad night because I already know it. Very negative feedback. Heart rate monitor is way off. On elliptical it showed 145. I never had a HR that high. Usually avg 103 after 30 min. This device does not count floors climbed. All those graphs that keep showing up on screen. I have no idea what they represent. Im very disappointed with this device. It is lacking what I need. I thought by getting a new device from Garmin it would be better, but it’s not. Wish I could give a better review.

Going from Fenix 6s to the Lily 2 Active, I love that the Lily has a smaller size and more stylish look that fits in at dinner just as well as outside the gym or off the trail. However, I very much miss being able to control music during an activity. I loved that the Fenix 6s let me control music during runs, as my phone is usually tucked away in a belt or zipper pocket. Not sure why that feature is missing from the Lily 2 active?

I bought the Garmin Lily Active watch a month ago after years of wearing a Fitbit. I was tired of having to replace my Fitbit every 12 to 18 months. I love my Garmin. It offers a variety of of features and is easy to use. I am very happy with my purchase!

Really liking this. I never liked the look of most smart watches, and charging every day was a non-starter for me. This battery lasts at least a week and has a more hybrid look to it (monochrome display) that doesn’t look overly sporty. That said, Garmin needs to develop some more watch faces (Garmin Connect IQ doesn’t appear to work with the Lily 2 Active to give that option) and the UI isn’t great (Fitbit has that nailed down). The weather doesn’t update very often (only like every 20 minutes) and the link to My Fitness Pal isn’t seamless. I’ve used a Fitbit for years, which works great, but doesn’t have a watch offering that appealed to me. Hopefully Garmin will make improvements in the UI and app soon. Until then, the battery life is great and the watch does what I need it to do.
