Garmin tactix 7 Tactical Multisport GPS Watch

I received the Tactix 7 through my NASM affiliation, and although I have not delved into all of the features completely, the Body Battery alone has provided vital information to make adjustments to my overall fitness. Highly recommended!

Great battery life, features and durability. However The only Problem is how bulky the watch is. Can cause issues.

After have a fenix 3 for almost 7 years I was a little reluctant to get into a new watch. But as soon as I put the Tactix on I was hooked. For a large watch it feels very light and comfortable. The display is crystal clear and simple to navigate with either touch or buttons. I’ve worn the watch through field training, ultra trail runs, and everything in between. The integrated Garmin Connect app makes planning and training as simple as could be. Strongly recommend this for anyone serious about their training, data, and demands durability from their gear.

The battery life on this is incredible. I use it daily for various activities from running, biking, hiking, and snowboarding mainly; and has been holding up great. Still only need to charge maybe once every other week. Mainly got this version for hunting and the aviation aspects of it, but still find myself going back to my large phone screen or a tablet for those things. I do find myself using the built in green flashlight all the time now in the dark instead of a headlamp. I do regret not getting the solar version for that reason, but I haven't lost sleep over it. Went from the more traditional consumer smart watch to the Garmin family with this one and I don't think I'll be changing brands anytime soon now - highly recommend.

Honestly, for how expensive it is I think you get your moneys worth. It comes with ton of features that if you need them then you definitely will use them. Wish it had a rucking workout

Love the MIP display. Touchscreen is responsive. The look of the tactix is great just wish for the price the standard would come with the nylon strap as well.

I bought this a couple weeks ago and it has given me problems ever since and seems to develop new issues every day. Freezing when plugged in, connecting to wifi, looking for software updates, and overnight. Battery life is awful. Full charge says “20 days” and dies overnight while it’s frozen. I have overslept two days due to freezing and alarm issues. Have had Garmin watches since 2011, never had issues like this. If Garmin can’t keep up with newer features, I may have to look elsewhere for a smart watch.

Purchased a few weeks ago for tracking temperature, hiking , camping and other outdoor adventures, built in GPS and topo maps make and excellent feature when hiking and navigating the outdoors. Very customizable with many map datum’s and coordinates styles. Being able to navigate back to were you started or to a specific area with the function of any larger GPS. Built in flashlight for those every day task comes in handy.From the Gym to the track to the deepest backwoods this device has you covered. OHhh did I mention it also has a watch to help you keep time. Lol

Best watch I have ever owned. Way over priced but awesome!

This is my first smart watch let alone Garmin watch. This thing is amazing! The amount of health details is phenomenal. Heart rate, sleep monitoring, exercise tracking, and much much more! I’m more self aware in what I should be doing as it provides accountability for me. I enjoy the fact I don’t have to charge it for almost 28 days and not every night like other brands. I also enjoy that you can change the watch face style, colors, and even download new watch faces made by others. Simple put I love this watch and recommend that you get one!

I bought this a month ago and wore it for about 2 weeks. Ended up returning it because it wouldn’t read my heart rate consistently and or recognize that it was on my wrist. The color spectrum on the watch is very limited as well. I’m sure I would have loved the Amoled Tactix7 if it has the updated 4 sensors underneath. It was an awesome watch but I decided to return it and get the Epix Pro Sapphire (gen 2). The epix has an updated 4 sensors for HR detection. And an amoled screen for the same price.

This watch is amazing the only issue I have is minor. The music apps as supposed to allow you to download music to the watch and my watch just keeps failing to download.

Got one for christmas and its amazing only thing thst is thst its hard to see sometimes during day but my eyes are old and im sure its a tactical deal to not have a colored face similar to my fenix 5

Had Garmin tactix delta solar. Bought the tactix 7 regular. The tactix 7 is much lighter then the delta. I also like the touch screen and flashlight! The battery life is always a plus for me! Also like a lot of the new features as well! I would recommend this watch to anyone!!

I had a Tactix Delta that I had to send back due to a mechanical issue that was under warranty. Garmin's customer service was beyond awesome. They replaced my Delta with a Tactix 7. To be honest, I wish I still had the Delta. Nothing against the Tactix 7, I was just so used to looking at the Delta that now, it still takes me more time to find the info on my screen. Can't beat the 30 day battery life of the Tactix 7 though!

Very nice watch, loaded with nice features. Developer friendly too!
