The other bad reviews probably didn’t follow the instructions properly as I (M 34yo) tried this dark brown and LOVED the results! Easy and quick, and the color covered some of my white hairs that come out here/there. Will definitely be purchasing again.

This is way too dark for anything lighter than dark brown. I tried it on my medium golden brown hair and it came out so dark I needed to go to a salon after suffering a day of questioning surprised looks on my friends and coworkers faces :(

I use black hair dye. This worked so well and was so fast and easy. Totally covered my grays. I expected it to wash right out like other root “touch ups”, it has stayed just like any other hair dye. Love this stuff.

I would not give one star ,I used light brown colour ,, I followed the instructions, I now have nearly black hair ,I used a colour stripper afterwards which has made no impact at all ,I have to cover my head to go out until I figure how to salvage this , the only saving grace with my head being as bad as it is ,is that my hair did not turn green like the previous review , I always use garner products and never had an issue until this product ,, it needs to be taken of the shelves ,there is something far wrong with this product when colour stripper makes no difference at all,

Hello DIgit. There, We know how disappointing it can be to look forward to a new application of color only to find that your results are not what you expected. There are many reasons why hair color results can come out too dark. When applying hair dye to previously color-treated hair, we suggest following the Touch Up application and timing to avoid extreme results. By doing repeated full head applications, your initial results will turn out more intense than intended. Your results sound like over absorbed pigment. The excess pigment will gradually work its way out of the hair to lighten up. Daily shampooing can help to gradually fade the excess pigment deposit and lighten the color. I wish I could give this 0 stars. I bought 2 packs to refresh my color, followed the instructions exactly, and ended up with GREEN hair. I have 5 years experience in cosmetology and have never had this happen before. Will not be buying again
