Loved the color but it faded out fast and left me looking like a red head. I use professional color protecting shampoo and conditioner. I only wash my hair once a week to keep hair color from fading too fast but after 3 washes it already faded. I used to love garnier but now it just doesn’t last long.

Don’t waste your money, sooooo disappointed. I have dark brown hair, after using this product……I STILL HAVE DARK BROWN HAIR!!! I was so excited to have some of that “raspberry truffle” color and unfortunately I didn’t get those results. In fact, I got no results. I am so disappointed and am very discouraged and hesitant to try again. Oh and for the record, I had all natural hair, no highlights, no dyes, nothing.

This is my go-to hair color and I've used it for years. Goes on easy, doesn't burn like other hair products have in the past. Coverage (on my grey) is good and lasts a decent amount of time. It does commonly 'change' on me. At first the color is vibrant and darker (pic with hat) and gradually, it lightens to a brighter blonde, (pic w/out hat). I like the shades just fine regardless of the fading/lightening.

I bought this color after a lot of research on how to dye dark virgin hair at home. I did not expect this product to lift much, but I saw no noticeable change after following the instructions to a T. I’m left with hair that feels less healthy and is the exact same color I began with. I know I have dark hair, but I expected to be able to achieve the results for dark to black hair that were listed on the box and didn’t get anywhere close. What a waste of time and money.

I've been using this product for years. Seems like they changed the formula. I used this product recently and gotten an allergic reaction from it. DO NOT BUY. Currently at the hospital with my face all swollen, redness around my face and neck including a rash.

Why did you go Vegan we don't care what some people that doesn't want certain things in there hair if we're liking it why change it. The color doesn't stay in your hair when you sweat the hair color runs and my sister used it clumps of hair was all on her hands and your Vegan crap sucks. Go back to permanent hair color. With all these bad reviews you might have a law suit filed.

The new vegan formula is awful. It has a green tinge. I had to re-dye my hair with a different brand. Please go back to the previous formula as I loved that one.

I really liked how my hair came out with 40 dark brown. This is my 2nd time using this product (1st time was burgundy) and I’m very satisfied. Clear instructions, easy to use and fast results. I’m not a pro at dying my hair, I did notice I missed a few strands but I’m not complaining. I’ll do better next time :)

the new formula that Garnier has started to use is horrible and holds no comparison to how the old formula used to be. The old formula had enough product in the bottle to dye 2 heads with, the new barely had enough to dye the top of my head (albeit splotchly). The color does not stick anymore and barely worked. Bring back the old formula.

This color WAS great before it became an IMPROVED formula. Don’t ever believe that, something changes, even when the package changes something else changed. They think consumers are stupid! And NO this absolutely does not cover grays! I left it on 45 mins too. Do not recomnend!

Have been a Garnier, New Nutrisse ultra creme hair color product user for near 15 years. Used it today and was so disappointed in the darkened shade my hair turned and how little grey coverage this formula provided. I've used extra light (111) ash blonde for years. The application was very difficult and messy. Difficult to squeeze step 2 tube colorant into the bottle, difficult to apply the color as the applicator became clogged with just about every squeeze.I had to stop to shake the bottle, squeeze to unclog it, then when I squeezed, it squirted out in a clumps all over me and the counter!! This squirting occurred 4 times during the process. I was lucky not to have product get in my eyes. I would not purchase again. Product overpriced and a significantly cheapened product.
