Q: Is this color easy to come off like if in the future i want to dye it light ? Or would i have to bleach it later on if i want to go back light?

A: Hi Janet, this hair dye is permanent, so it won't fade with time. We don't recommend bleaching color-treated hair. Your stylist may be able to offer some guidance as well. Hope this helps!

I recommend color oops the white/red box. It says bleach free. It would lighten up your hair ALOT. You can do 2 daily every 2 weeks or 1 until you reach desired color.

On hair lighter than a dark blonde there is the very real risk of discoloring the hair to a gray, green, pink or purple. L'Oréal leaves hair yellow and too dark. John Frieda leaves hair too yellow. I'd say Garnier is the best one so far. It doesn't look completely black, and there's no yellow color. It smells fruity. My hair doesn't feel dry or damaged. I'd purchase it again to touch up the roots.

I have natural red undertones in my hair, so went with #61 since it appeared to match my natural brown hair color. I haven’t dyed my hair in 20 years so I was quite shocked to see my hair dyed a copperish color! Apparently someone forgot to add the Ash in this ash brown color. Sadly, after I give my hair a resting period, I will have to try using hair dye from another company and hope the copper color is covered up. Also it did not cover up my fly away greys.

Wish I could rate this -1000. Gave me the worst copper and orange red roots and turned the rest of my hair very dark. Tried to neutralize it with a medium ash brown and the roots didn’t budge at all. This absolutely destroyed my hair. Don’t even know how I’m going to fix this. Please for the love of god do not get this hair dye.

I have used #73 Honey Dip for years because it’s so pretty and easy to use. This new design box has a different mixture in it, the cream is too hard. It’s hard to get out and it doesn’t seem to mix well or activate. My color is darker and mousier than it used to be. I don’t want to but I’ll have to use a different brand for my dark golden blonde hair color. Can you please go back to the original ingredients? I miss it!

So so so surprised and so very unhappy that this has changed colors. The new box did not prepare me at all for how very red my hair is now. I have used this color for over a decade now and I loved it so much. I haven’t bought any other in years but now I suppose I’ll have to start searching for something close unless it changes back.

I got this product from #free #tryitwithtopbox a few weeks ago in the mail as a mission I thought I'd try it out sence I needed to die my hair my roots were showing the after results were good easy to apply wasn't strong smelling lathered all nice and even and after I washed it all it looked good got rid of my Grey's but the colour doesn't last long and my roots started to show again cause my hair grows super fast

I usually go for this brand for my reds and black needs as it always comes out vibrant and leaves my hair not only soft but smelling good! I was so excited to try this as my hair had grown out enough to bleach the roots out and do a pretty violet to black. Very upset as the color came out so red. Not anything close to the color displayed and I left it on a little over 40 min hoping it would change lol. The color after mixing was the first sign as it’s a pinkish color. Very sad it wasn’t violet at all.

Why did Garnier decide "New Improved Color" was needed? I've used, Garnier Nutrisse shade 535, Medium Golden Mahogany Brown (Chocolate Caramel), for years and LOVED it. The new formula is too thick and more importantly, the color is NOT the same. I was very unhappy with the results of your so called "New Improved Color". Sadly, i'm going to have to find another brand.

it did absolutely nothing to my hair. i have medium length curly hair and there wasn't enough product in one box for all of it, but i did absolutely douse my roots in it. it did nothing. i might as well not have dyed it at all.

I have been using this brand and color for years. My hair would always be so shiny and look so healthy… like virgin hair. They had to have changed the formula. First of all, the consistency changed. It’s like trying to spread wet Play-dough thru your hair and it drys quickly into almost a paste. It burned instantly. I rinsed after 30 min and have burn spots. That’s never happened before. When you rinse in warm water it like activates a chemical and feels like needles are poking your scalp. My hair looks so dull and is extremely dry as if I bleached it. Extremely bummed, I loved this brand. I’ll never buy it again.
