Garnier Nutrisse Ultra Color Blondes Lightening Cream

Not enough in one bottle to start with. I put it on my natural non dyed hair, after I had grown it out for over a year, and now it’s blotchy, yellow, and ugly. My hair is about a foot long and only the first inch of roots really picked up the dye, just a little bit though. I’ve been dyeing my hair for over 12 years and this has never happened to me. Not happy with this trash product.

I’ve used this color for years and years and have always loved how vibrant the red is…until recently. I guess they changed the formula and now the color is super dull. Really disappointed. Guess I’m on a quest to find a new vibrant red box dye

This bleach is phenomenal for dark hair. As someone who has been bleaching my hair at home with powder bleach and 40 vol developer, for over a decade; I'm obsessed with the lifting power of this 'boxed dye"!The conditioner is purple or indigo which removes the yellow. My hair is short but I would definitely recommend 2+ boxes for anything longer than a couple inches.

Love it I use only in my roots

I’ve been using Garnier Nutrisse hair color for over 20 yrs.The new formula is too thick. I immediately noticed the difference. This makes it much more difficult to get to the roots and the bottle gets clogged too. I’m disappointed because I love the color I use, but I may have to switch.

I believe they have reformulated. I’ve been using this product for years and it was always my go-to. The last couple times I have used it, the product has not lightened my hair well. It’s a quick and easy process, but not as effective as it once was.

Never had a problem bleaching my hair before. Decided to try a new brand, followed instructions perfectly and out of my 6 foils only 1 came out good, the rest have many strands that didn’t even bleach at all. Half my hair is still brown and the other is blonde. Looks like I have brown highlights.

I have used this color for years and absolutely loved it. The formula has changed. The color isn’t the same, it dried mt hair out and the color was gloppy and didn’t cover well. Why would you change something that was already great to something awful. I will be finding a new hair color brand. I am so disappointed.

I was looking to even out my grays. Front is almost white and wanted to lighten the back. I followed the directions but did not read any reviews until my hair turned yellow. How can I fix this? Advise please. I am on SS and can't afford to go to a professional salon.

I have been using this color for about 3 yrs now. It should have been my natural color. I love the way it fades into a bluish/gray without the "line". Keep this product available!

I have read several negative reviews of this shade and can only surmise that they have not followed directions or have black hair. I have dark brown roots. I used PL2 after 4 weeks worth of roots...left it on for 25 minutes, rinsed and roots were almost a white blonde which is what i wanted. No brassiness or orange and the purple conditioner added a nice, natural finishing touch. I like using a one step blonde that lightens and tones in one step. I highly recommend PL2!

I really like this color on my hair. I have medium to dark brown hair, the hair dye is a bit subtle in normal lighting but really gets loud in the sunlight. I get a lot of compliments on my hair. I have used this product for years. The reason I gave this a 4 instead of a 4 is because sometimes when I purchase this produce it seems to be a little different each time. Last time it was like the color did not take at all, they time it is Fab’O.

I have never had a problem with any colors with this brand. I got this V2 color and it says it is purple but it is RED/ORANGE!!!! I AM BEYOND LIVID RIGHT NOW. MY HAIR HAS BEEN PURPLE FOR MONTHS AND NO I HAVE THIS RED MESS ON MY HEAD I WILL NEVER EVER BUY THIS HAIR DYE AGAIN

How disappointing, sad, and annoying. I bought the previous version of PL1 and LOVED the platinum shade for nearly two years now. Garnier changed the product, said it's the same, I'm here to tell you it's not!! This is warmer than the previous product. It leaves your hair super brassy and warmer than the previous formulation. I am so deeply sad this changed and now have to find a replacement.

Not caramel or chocolate in color but orangy red. Totally ruined me staying with my brown hair tone so it can grow out evenly. Completely disappointed

Never thought I could get these results from a one-step box bleach/hair toner. Highly recommend product.

The dye effect is not up to 8 levels which is really disappointing, I was going for white as I had seen early level displayed on the packet, I left the dye for about 40mins hoping that it would change to my intended color but it stopped at platinum blonde (I wasn’t going for that). It honestly felt like I wasted my money. But if you going for just an easy tint or color change then you can go for it

unfortunately this was not at all violet or purple like the packaging clearly advertised. i bought two boxes because i have longer, thicker hair- and i really wish i didn't. i've never had trouble dyeing my hair and i've never, ever experienced getting a different color than promised. but this product is RED. and i mean, VERY RED. i'm sad, because ive had red hair for a while and specifically waited for all of the dye to run its course though my hair so i could go to purple. it's strange too, because this is the same dye my mother uses to get her hair a beautiful deep purple color- so i figured it would be the same, right? upon mixing the product, i noticed it had a very pink hue to it, and it confused me but as stated on the instructions, the color shown in the dye bottle is not the end result, so i kept going. as it developed, i noticed the familiar stain of crimson on my skin, and i knew then and there something was wrong: but at this point, half my head was already processing the dye, and i had to move forward. as i mixed my second bottle, biting the bullet, i realized this mixture was a DIFFERENT shade of pink! i triple checked the boxes and, yes they were the same color. intense violet V2. i grit my teeth and continued the dye process, knowing there was no point in stopping now. sitting with my fiancé as it processed, he ALSO noticed and proceeded to ask, "wasn't that supposed to be purple?" and of course, my disappointment was further pressed. now to the even more harrowing part: i rinsed my hair as i always do: cold cold water, as i learned after almost 8 years of dye experience. my hair started falling out. not ALL of it, and of course i'm used to a sizable clump of hair loss with every dye job i do, usually from overbrushing it combined with the simple nature of putting chemicals on hair, but this was way more than usual. i lost a solid amount of hair as i rinsed and combed the conditioning mask through. it honestly looked like id cleaned out a well loved hairbrush four or five times- i was a bit scared for my head's integrity post-shower. even still, i somehow had hope. even after examining the clumps of hair-bunnies in the shower that shone a familiar vermillion hue, i hoped that once it was fully dried things might change. but im sitting here writing this with cherry red hair, wishing i had bought a box of splat midnight amethyst instead (lol). all jokes and ranting aside, please read reviews and do your research before buying because apparently, stop signs are now purple.
