This colour is exactly what I have been looking for. It is rich and dark chocolate. I am not sure how people ended up with black or maybe they don't understand that medium brown is quite dark. This has absolutely beautiful colour in the light and when up against a black shirt it is much lighter and a definite chocolate shade. My hair is so soft today and this is my new "go-to" colour.

I love this brand of hair dye BUT the Dark Intense Violet pulled very red. I used to get a very similar color a long time ago and I always loved how purple-y it turned out. This is far from what the box looks like. For reference, I have dark brown hair and some gray. As you can see in the photo, the grays resisted this color quite a bit and is much lighter (which is no one’s fault). You can’t tell on the length but it looks more red than anything. It also stained my scalp. This has never happened to me before. With this being said, I don’t hate this color but I’m disappointed that it wasn’t what I was hoping for. I would do this color again ONLY if I’m going for a red. Until then, I’ll be looking for a different dye that will have a more violet result.

I have been a long time user of this product. Am pleased with colour result but do not like the new version of the product as far as the packaging. The bottle’s applicator tip is too narrow and it’s difficult to squeeze out the product on to the hair. Found my arm was sore after the colour application.

I usually go for this brand for my reds and black needs as it always comes out vibrant and leaves my hair not only soft but smelling good! I was so excited to try this as my hair had grown out enough to bleach the roots out and do a pretty violet to black. Very upset as the color came out so red. Not anything close to the color displayed and I left it on a little over 40 min hoping it would change lol. The color after mixing was the first sign as it’s a pinkish color. Very sad it wasn’t violet at all.

I bought R2 Medium Intense Auburn, because Target was out of my usual hair dye.It smells nice after mixing, not strong.It was sloppy and turned my hair and skin bright red. The hair dye is hard to apply unlike other brands.

I have been using the 6.34 Amber Light Honey Brown for at least 8 years. The new formula is awful compared to the old formula. The finished colour of the new formula is not the same as the old. The colour now looks like how my colour would after coloring for 3 weeks(with the old formula) and it no longer will cover my greys. Very disappointing. You know the saying if it's not broke don't fix it!!!!!!!

Dear Garnier Team, I have been a loyal customer of your hair color products for quite some time and have always been impressed with the previous formula, particularly the version that came in packaging with green sides and a different image. Unfortunately, I’ve noticed significant changes with the new formula, and I wanted to share my concerns. The new version does not perform as well—it washes out within 3 to 5 days and leaves noticeable stains on my pillowcase, which was never an issue with the previous product. I’m not sure what changes were made, but the quality is no longer the same. I would greatly appreciate any information on whether older batches of the previous formula are still available, as I would be interested in purchasing them in bulk. Your previous formula was a staple in my routine, and I’m disappointed that it is becoming increasingly difficult to find a comparable product. I bought the dark intense violet and put it on my medium brown hair. The color is SO BAD. It looks reddish pink and not even close to purple. I’m so disappointed.

For the longest time I’ve been trying to figure out what happened to my hair- it got super frizzy and was falling out in clumps in the shower. After reading the reviews and seeing hair loss and damage I finally stopped dying it and I’m slowly getting growth again. I am horrified that it took me so long to realize what it was. And it sucks because this dye really had a beautiful color even after a long time but it’s not worth balding over.

First of all, most of the time I buy hair color only if they are on sale regardless of how is going to turns out…I don’t enjoy it Matchi Matchi nor perfections when it comes to colors.’’who cares?… it’s my hair my choice…showing it off is fun… I also get complements…. Unlike the rest of people, I have a uniquely way of liking things. Explanation: I never use the same color as the one I previously used. Example of my last experience’ RZ4 ( intense bronze red) Oh! a bit red. Last night I colored the roots with GARNIER Nutrisse B3 (Golden brown) I Love It… this is the first time in my life I am ordering the B3 for next time…❤️. The only thing it’s higher price online.’ I may only get it if I can’t find it on sele. Hunts begins now…
