GE 2pk 40W Relax G25 LED Globe Light Bulbs Soft White: Dimmable, Energy Star, 13.7-Year Life, 360 Lumens, E26 Base

These are really nice bulbs...but I feel this HD version of GE's LED bulbs are too bright. I replaced my 4-bulb vanity fixture with the 60w version of these and it was ridiculously bright. Then I bought these 40w version and there were still unusually bright to me. Maybe its cause of the bulb inside a bulb design. I eventually went with the other normal 40w GE LED bulb with the filament style (that isn't HD) and that worked better.

I am switching all the lighting in my bathrooms to these eventually. The lighting is so much softer than traditional lighting, which is something I was looking for since I have cataracts now.

They are great replacements for incandescents and waste less energy because they do not get too hot. They produce a better light quality than some of the florescents that are on the market. I will definitely purchase this product and recommend for others to do so as well.

The soft glow is bright enough to see all the work I need to do, but not harsh on my eyes. The glow is a wonderful mood setting. I don't get headaches because the lights are not a harsh bright white. It is much brighter then my previous bulb making reading easier to see the pages. I like the warm light it emits. It is also energy savings bulb.

Your eyes adjust easily and you could watch a movie with these light's on without feeling disturbed. I would recommend these lights to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone that spends a good amount of my day in harsh lighting that often leads to headaches and stress, I was really pleased to try theses Relax soft white 40 watt bulbs in my home. I get tension headaches fairly easily from bright lights among other things. I have sensitivity to any bright lights, and it's a struggle to adapt to my surroundings. When I come home, I generally use minimal lighting and attempt to decompress that way. When I recieved these bulbs I intended to use them in my bedroom since I spend a lot of time in there, and when winding down for the day, the softer the light the better. I replaced the bulbs that the previous owners/tenants/landlords had installed and put these two bulbs in. I waited a day to use them so my eyes would be able to fully intake the difference. When I arrived home, I switched the light on and I was happily surprised. These bulbs create a calm, and almost cooling effect that radiates plenty of light but prevents any and all eye strain. I usually leave that light off altogether. but this was such a soft light, I was able to funcition, see clearly, and also avoid the headaches harsh lighting can bring on. Even if you are not sensitive to light, or could care less about bad lighting, I would still recommend these. They are just in general much better for your eyes, and they are great quality. GE is a brand I have heard of before, but there are so many lightbulb products, I had not heard of this specific type of bulb. I am so happy that I got to try these because I am going to replace them in every room in my house. Something that seems as trivial as switching to a softer light can really change your life. These are terrific.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The GE Relax Soft White HD bulbs are much more-efficient and environmentally-friendly alternatives to other light bulbs on the market. The GE Relax HD bulbs give off a clean, soft white light that is great for living rooms, bedrooms and bathrooms. They don’t have any issues with flickering like many LED bulbs and these bulbs works great if you are using them with a dimmer switch as well. I used them in our bathroom vanity lights and they are the perfect wattage (40watts) and color light for that space, I highly recommend these bulbs.

The bathroom is small and sometimes regular 40w bulbs seem very bright and also seem to run hot. The light from the LED globe is bright without feeling too bright and remains significantly cooler to the touch than regular 40w bulbs. Now I need to get myself 2 more Relax Soft White 5w LED clear globe bulbs to replace my old 40w regular bulbs. I really like this product!

I put these led ones in as soon as I got them and the light color and quality is just as good! I shy away from led because it’s a cold whitish hue that I really don’t care for but these bulbs look exactly the same and the best thing is that they don’t heat up my bathroom!
