Q: The specifications for these 8 watt LED bulbs say that the "watt output equivalent" is 100 watts, but the "energy used" is also 100 watts. Is this a typo? Shouldn't it be "8 watts"? Thank you.

Bought these back in November for our new bathroom fixture, which is not enclosed. First one died a couple months ago and now the second one is randomly dimming and flickering off and halfway on and such. They're on maybe an hour or two a day tops. Avoid these bulbs. Light is great, life of bulbs is atrocious for leds.

Love these!! I have purchased 26 of these bulbs in the last year and they work beautifully. Nice, super bright light without being harsh or showing any of the interior bulb workings- lines and threads inside, when the bulbs are “off.” I have had no short lived bulbs or failures in the last year. I have also been through several other LED candelabra bulbs from different brands, not liking the look of the bulbs when off or the lack of brightness or occasional flickering- some were on dimmers. I have these both on dimmers and straight lines with no dimmer. No flickering! This has an interior milk white coating inside the bulbs, making them look like a traditional incandescent light bulb. These older eyes thank you for the 100 watt availability!

Doesntlast - 5 months ago
Installed 9 of these in my ceiling fans and have 3 failures after less than a year. Dont think they have proper cooling for the led or just manufacturing defects. It’s in an open enclosure next to a fan too! My ceiling fan lights are not even on for that long. That’s way too short of a life for LED.
