A: Hello, Ancius. This lamp is rated to be used in damp location so in order to use it outdoors it will need to have some type of covering over it so, it does not get directly rained on, but also not suitable for total enclosed applications. Thanks, GE Lighting

Just put these in and I love the bright white light. I don’t care for the frosted and yellowish light most lights give off. This was exactly what I was looking for and will be purchasing more bulbs for other fixtures.

I bought these on accident, thought they were they same as soft white but like another reviewer mentioned it’s more of a blue white slightly unnatural color. They are a truer white light if that’s what you want but definitely kind of harsh not soft.

These bulbs make my bathroom look so white and sparkling... unlike the yellow dull "warm" lights I've been using.
Also, I've left the lights on for 12+ hours and the bulbs are not even warm to the touch.
If you need clean bright white lights that won't overheat, buy these.

Used these to brighten up my bathroom which has no windows. I've alternated these 40W equivalent bulbs with the 60W equivalent of the same brand, and can't even see a difference between the two. Definitely recommend these to brighten a small dark room.

Very unattractive lighting. Gives off a bright blue-white light similar to fluorescence tubes. Lots of shadows. Not natural at all. Quality of life is more important than the saving you get from using A19 Led bulbs.
