Q: What is a "fully enclosed fixture"? I want to use this on a post fixture, it is surrounded by glass, so light will be able to get to the sensor; but it is enclosed in the sense of being weatherproof.

On the box it says 22.8 year lifespan if used 3hrs per day. We had ours on for at least 8-10 hrs a day and would have expected at least 5 year lifespan. The bulbs started going out between 1-2 years.

Works when it wants to. It seems that if it’s a cloudy or gloomy day, light will stay on. Sometimes even when the sun is out. Guess it depends on the weather. Not entirely sure, but I’m certain there’s an outdoor smart bulb better than this

Use this for my front porch so that the light will be on when I come home after dark. You just have to leave the light switch on all the time and the light will turn itself on and off by itself. I use it inside a light fixture on a covered porch and it’s still able to detect day vs. night. Works great!

I have nothing bad to say about this lightbulb it does what it says is supposed to do and I’ve had it for about maybe two years and still going strong. This lightbulb has lasted without even having a protection fixture around it.
