Q: Hello. Silly question but does the light need to b on in order for the speaker to work? If so, is there an option for the light not to b on and for the sound to play with the light switch on?
A: Hello, Mel. No, the lights can be controlled independently of the speaker. You can have the lights on and speaker off, lights off and speaker on, or lights on and speaker off with the help of the remote. Q: If my light fixture uses two bulbs, can I safely replace one bulb or do I have to have two of the same type of bulb?
