Q: the description says "grey" but in store it says "black and white". is it the he same rug? is it a grey or black? I'm very confused

A: Hello! This rug comes in 3 colorways, and two of them are cream ground with two different greys, a light grey, and a darker, more charcoal grey (almost black), so I think the confusion came when we first introduced this rug, it looked more black, but it’s actually dark grey. The one in store is cream/dark grey (not totally black). Hope this helps!

A: HI Patti J - The rug labeled as cream is cream with light gray lines. The rug labeled as cream/gray is cream with dark gray lines. Lastly we have our gray option which is a dark gray with tan lines. The rug was nice when I bought it. It only took six months for fibers to started coming away from it. I can’t vacuum it without fibers coming away. There won’t be much left of it before too long. This rug was a waste of money. I will have to replace it before the year is out. I do not recommend this product.

The item was great but packaged horribly and came all dirty. I wanted to do a return/replacement but then canceled the request because i figured it would just happen again with the replacement so i oped to take the risk and try to clean it. It took some time and effort but seems to be okay now.

I purchased a similar area rug back in 2013 that I was in love with. Since then I’ve gotten around, purchasing area rugs through other companies. Also added two kids under six and a husband that never takes his shoes off to the mix. None of them were thick soft/plush or able to endure the conditions we subjected them to. So I returned to what I know and was happy with and I do not regret purchasing this. I was concerned with the reviews stating dirt and unraveling were issues. I do see some loose threading but as long as it remains tucked under the couch should be a non-issue. Our feet are very happy and our living room looks cozy and modern. And best of all I paid a reasonable price. All around a perfect fit for my family.

I was initially very happy with these rugs, but my opinion quickly changed within the first two weeks. The strings around the edges of the rugs began to tear apart, making them look worn and cheap. On top of that, these rugs are extremely hard to clean. For the $260 we paid, we expected much better quality and durability. Unfortunately, they have not lived up to our expectations and are not worth the price. Very disappointed with this purchase.

the rug itself is lovely, it’s fluffy and super comfortable however it’s shipping is god awful. It didn’t come in a box and only half of it was sealed in plastic. the other half was a taped on trash bag which was shocking to say the least. so naturally it wasn’t sealed properly and it showed up stained which is unfortunate because it is a lovely rug BUT it showed up damaged.

We loved how this looked in our space but unfortunately it arrived dirty and with part unraveling. We went to the store to exchange it and all the ones in stock were also dirty. This also shipped without being fully wrapped or covered. I wouldn’t recommend ordering this for delivery.

The packaging didn’t cover the whole rug and when it was delivered the rug was visibly dirty on large areas. I’ve ordered other rugs that have plastic covering but this one only had plastic wrapping the center leaving both ends covered in dirt. It’s too large to fit in my car, otherwise I’d return it. Don’t recommend this for delivery based on how they ship it.

I wanted to love this carpet but have to be completely honest. It had a strong smell for a few days. Within the first 2 weeks I noticed unravelling from under and should have returned it immediately. I did not! It completed my living room so well, I guess I figured it wouldn't get much worse. I was wrong. It began unravelling over time really bad. My carpet was the cream and gray, again beautiful, but def appeared dirty fast. Impossible to clean and just became an eye sore.

After reading many of the reviews, I was very hesitant to purchase this rug. I needed a new rug in my master bedroom. And I am so thankful that this rug turned out to be beautiful. The very first thing that I did was vacuum it, to see if the reviews were true. I can attest that it vacuumed beautifully. Please keep in mind that it is a shag rug, so there is a chance at some point that some of the pieces may come off. I have not had it long enough to be convinced of any serious shedding. I have laid down on it in a full black outfit. And there was no remnants of the rug on my clothing. Yes when it was placed on the ground in the master bedroom, there was a slight smell due to the dye that is in the carpet. But I will say that the smell did not take over the room, or the home. I am very sensitive to smell, and I would be super honest and Say if it was overwhelming. In order to smell it, you literally had to lay down on it and press your nose into the fabric. All in all it is thick, it is plush, and most of all things to Target, It is an amazing deal.
