Ghirardelli premium milk chocolate chips are delicious! They’re smooth, creamy, and perfect for baking or snacking. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is that they’re a bit pricier than other brands. Still, the quality is worth it!

Regrettably, I find these chocolate chips lacking in appeal due to a noticeable chemical flavor. While they possess a creamy texture, the artificial taste significantly diminishes my overall enjoyment.

A must for your pantry and chocolate chip cookie recipe. The chocolate melts really well. The sugar is balanced and makes a super sweet and rich cookie. The packaging is sturdy and the chocolate is never bloomed.

Please let me preface this by saying I'm not a professional chef, baker or chocolate conuisseres. I've only ever had the yellow-bagged milk chocolate morsels so when I was put in charge of our block party's chocolate chip cookies, I decided to splurge and incorporate these "premium" chips into my recipe. Well. I don't know about you but it is law to nibble on some chips whilst creating the dough de cookie in this house. I was eager to give these a try. So I poured 4 or 5 in my hand, threw them back and waited to be impressed. Maybe the first few were bad. Four additional chips later and I'm completely buggin'. Is this how milk chocolate chips are SUPPOSED to taste? Because I was not prepared for that. I was disappointed but I seriously don't know if it's them or me. Based on what I know and my experience, I wasn't impressed. I wanted to love these but...I just didn't. They did get high marks for size and shape, though!

Honestly it wasn’t that special and it did go right through me, but I have to be honest, they didn’t taste bad at all. I’m just lactose intolerant and eat dairy free because anything with dairy affects me so I minimize it. It was definitely better than Hershey’s though

The best chocolate chips if you know you know. It’s rated as the best ones you can buy at the grocery store. It’s not cheap tasting and has quality chocolate. The best for cookies too.

These are my favorite store bought chocolate chips for baking. I make batches of chocolate chip cookies during Christmas and decided to go with these chocolate chips as opposed to competitors. They have better ingredients and less junk than other brands, which made me happy to see considering so many brands are now using GMO ingredients. I mixed these and the dark chocolate, and they were amazing. Smooth and creamy chocolate chips throughout my cookies. Nice, rich flavor. It tasted like the unadulterated chocolate that I grew up with. Will continue to purchase. Also, the chips are great melted and used to dip strawberries in for a nice treat.

The flavor is UNMATCHED! The packaging is gorgeous. These chocolate chips are versatile, easy to melt and the texture is smooth. My favorite is melted chips over strawberries.

I have devised an amazing cookie recipe and I refuse to use any chocolate pieces but these, save for a different ghirardelli flavor. There's a smoothness and depth of flavor that you just don't get with other brands.

These make some of the best cookies around. Don’t get me wrong, I love the other, less expensive brands. There’s just something special about these chips. The flavor and consistency are unmatched. And you can trust me. I’m a little bit chubby.

I own a baking business, and I only use GHIRARDELLI products. When I say worth EVERY red cent I spend on their products. They taste amazing. The chocolate literally MELTS in your mouth. And unlike some chocolate chips, these have a soft bite to them. I will never stop using their products.

This is by far the best brand for chocolate chip cookies. I am a baker and a cookie connoisseur. Have tried every brand out there and this by far tops them all! If you haven't used to Ghirardelli yet, definitely use them I mix the milk, chocolate chip with the bitter, sweet and everyone in the fam loves it! This brand is also great for dipping. Melt chocolate with a little bit of coconut oil and dip cake pops, fruit, Oreos, etc. for a perfect sweet treat.

Ghirardelli milk chocolate chips is my only choice when it comes to baking. I bake a lot, chocolate chip cookies are one of my specialties and I have tried a lot of brands and folks let me tell you there is no comparison! The chocolate flavor is on point and they bake up into a creamy perfection!
