GHIRARDELLI Premium Chocolate Sauce - 16oz

You can't get half of it out of the bottle because it's way too thick. I even store it upside down and pound it on the counter. No idea why they would put this consistency in a bottle when it very clearly belongs in a jar. I like the flavor but would not buy again.

A tasty chocolate sauce option. It's thick,more like a fudge vs sauce. I use a butter knife to scoop from the lower part. Worth the effort though.

Super tasty, but the bottle is hard to squeeze and the last third of the bottle is a challenge to get out using a spoon/spatula

Ghirardelli's chocolate sauce is way better than Hershey's. The ingredients say it all. But, wait until you taste it! Delicious! This is a must-have for ice cream sundaes or chocolate milk.

Good chocolate but this is wasteful. It requires refrigeration and the bottle is stiff so it’s nearly impossible to get out. After squeezing and sticking a knife in I think I still had 15-20% of the product stuck inside.

Why would Ghirardelli do this to us? They say, hey guys, here’s some delicious, real chocolate without the nasty ingredients that other companies have… go ahead! Enjoy! Then they sit back and laugh watching us try to get it out of the bottle… Can you hear them?? This is their joy. I’m 39 years old and I can load a refrigerator into my truck without help and I’m over here squeezing the life out of this bottle to get the chocolate out.. then I have to resort to getting a butter knife and looking like a maniac, eventually making a mess.. wondering what my life has become. Was it so hard to put this chocolate into something with a tapered nozzle? A squeezable pouch body? Anything to help us out?? For $6 it would be nice to not have to feel like I’m making my own chocolate syrup by squeezing hard chocolate blocks… my hands need a nap

This is so disappointing because this tastes really good but you can’t get to it! It’s hard to squeeze in general but after it’s been refrigerated it’s impossible. You have to dig it out with a knife.

I love Ghirardelli chocolate and thought this product would be a great item to purchase. I only gave at least two stars for the taste! But, it's virtually impossible to get the chocolate sauce out of this container! It is nice and thick which is good! But, for crying out loud use some common sense and put such a thick substance in a container where it can be scooped out then! Expecting customers to squeeze it out of this container is just sadistic!

I did like the taste of the product but the bottle is not functional. It was so hard to squeeze it out. I ended up tossing it out after a quarter of the way through.

Like the other reviews the bottle and functionality of getting the whole product out and the refrigerate. SOLUTION: A good bottle with the same ounces with a pointed twist cap to squeeze out, like they use at the coffee shops and fancy places so you don’t see the brand they use… My only other question is how long do this last after opening ingredients? I’ll have to call to find out.

It has the worst bottle design. At least 30% of the syrup will remain in the bottle. Hard to squeeze and use. It is the *correct* chocolate syrup for coffee drinks (not for desserts), but the lack of a pump makes this unusable since it's too thick to flow. Get the Torani brand if you must, similar taste with a functional bottle.

Never tried the product because a fuzzy mold like substance was under the foil safety cap. It was many months until the expiration date.

The bottle design is enough to make me never buy this again. It’s a huge pain to squeeze!

Bought this for banana splits and all of my kids hated it. One of my kids ran to bathroom to spit it out. I consider myself a die hard chocolate fan and I tried some and it was inedible. Sour, bitter, just all around not good. I loved the ingredient list but unfortunately it didn’t deliver in taste.

This chocolate sauce literally has such good ingredients. There’s not one thing in there that I do not understand or that I cannot pronounce unlike hersheys chocolate syrup which is just flavoured black syrup. This is so premium quality and the flavour is just amazing. Highly highly recommend

Easy and delicious add to coffee/espresso! We got this to make mochas and it’s great for the price

The Ghiradelli chocolate sauce is by far the best I've ever tasted, and we eat it a lot. It has limited ingredients that are all natural, (which does make it hard to get out of the container if you put it in the refrigerator after opening, but there are no emulsifiers or fake things to make it flow better). It has a rich and deep darker chocolate profile and is not bitter at all. We prefer this over Torani, because Torani is more about sweetness than chocolate flavor, and Hershey's (which I grew up on) is too runny and has a weird fake-chocolate taste. This is full-on, real chocolate flavor. Highly recommend!

Tastes like chalk, not a good chocolate flavor at all. Bought this for my coffee drinks at home & it ruined them. Not very sweet either.

This sauce is delicious. I put it in my cold brew, ice cream, on bananas.. it's sooooo good. You will never buy Hershey's again.
